so, as a guy whose actively been ignoring anything non-Ms.Marvel-related since the last relaunch, why is this issue such a big deal? First Red Goblin (Norman has the Carnage symbiote on) But again, why is that such a big deal? Carnage took over the Silver Surfer once, why is Norman having it so earth-shattering that these issues are so hot?

The Red Goblin can breathe fire - but symbiotes are weak to fire - unless Carnage got over that some how

Most likely because Slott is leaving the book soon and that's why it's selling so well

It's Slotts last run with the character and what if this is actually is the Ultimate Green Goblin or Norman instead was injected with Oz?

I'm still not getting it. Are all of Bendis' last Marvel books selling out like flajacks too? Like, it just seems like the most random speculation imaginable.

I mean, I think you can find his recently concluded solo series relatively easily; could be tough in stores but online it's not in speculator world. Although that story where Carnage took over Silver Surfer (2 issues, toward the very end of DeFalco's ASM run) is in speculator world, though.

The news is showing up on social media today that Michael Fleisher died a bit over a month ago - he's best remembered for his super dark '70s Spectre stories with Jim Aparo, writing Ditko's Shade the Changing Man and an extensive run writing Jonah Hex.

Interestingly enough, Ethan Van Sciver is not. He and Gail had always been talking for YEARS about doing that book, and it's very curious to see him not even acknowledging/addressing the issue on social media (and for those in the "who's in trouble today on social media" mindset, you probably know why his name's not attached to any of this....)
