I mean with teh Marvel History is Destroyed does make me think it's more "time traveler f***s things up" and less... THIS IS WHAT TOTALLY HAPPENED. Marvel 2011: "Flashpoint? Pfeh. That's stupid. Nothing you read mattered. We still exist and proud of it." Marvel 2019: "OMFG EVENT #169 OF 2019 #MARVELDESTROYED IT'S CRAYCRAY #MARVELDESTROYED FORGET EVERYTHING YOU EVER KNEW #MARVELDESTROYED NEW MARVEL FOREVER #MARVELDESTROYED #MARVELDESTROYED #MARVELDESTROYED #MARVELDESTROYED"

OH good... I was wondering when the next... oh my god you think you know the origin but you really don't... so here's the for really real origin story... It’s just going to be a mini series starting Cosmic Ghost Rider. “Cosmic Ghost Rider Destroys Marvel History” When I saw this, I really bought it as a joke you made and moved it. But, nope......this is EXACTLY what it is. www.newsarama.com/43089-cosmic-ghost-rider-will-destroy-marvel-s-timeline-this-march.html

For anyone who reads Vertigo books Border Town has officially been canceled by DC after sexual abuse allegations were made against writer Eric M Esquivel.
It was inevitable since the whole art team quit just yesterday.
I was really enjoying the book but I understand why they canceled it.
After reading the allegations f*** Esquivel but I feel bad for the rest of the creative team.

I don’t know if it is just my Books A Million or all of them but all the single issue comics were a $1. Bought like 15 Fried Pie Variant covers. Hell of a deal overall I got 25 comics and saved $145.00

In advance of DC's March 2019 solicits, they've released Jim Lee's cover for DETECTIVE #1000.

Since it seeems like this is a joke book than this is for serious what happened I'm more fine with it... And it's a joke they've done several times already, with both Deadpool and Bug (from Micronauts/early GOTG) having humor books that saw them travel through the timeline and basically Forrest Gump every major event in Marvel into happening. In advance of DC's March 2019 solicits, they've released Jim Lee's cover for DETECTIVE #1000. That's an awful cover, and boring as hell to boot. Lee may be slightly better with anatomy than he was in the Image days, but he still has zero concept of how to design an interesting cover.

Over the last few years, there's been a lot of good artists doing Batman covers and interiors that could have easily cranked out a much better cover than that.

I also love how no one can ever think of anything to draw in the Batcave besides the Batmobile, computers, the dino, the giant penny and the giant joker card. Boring. Same things, over and over and over and over. Bats hasn't had a noteworthy memento from one of his cases bigger than a breadbox in the last 50 years to add to these? Getting offtrack on that part but regardless, that cover blows.

A helmet from the Red Hood Gang or The Bat Mechsuit that Jim Gordon wore?

Well, at least we're probably due another 7 or 8 covers besides this one from a variety of people who probably know how to draw covers. why isn't Robin on it? seems like an odd omission. .......well, the original one is very much right there in plain view. And he's not a corpse, to boot! We've been blessed! ;p

More details: Variant covers will be by Steve Rude, Michael Cho, Steranko, Bernie Wrightson, Frank Miller, Tim Sale, Jock, Greg Capullo and Bruce Timm. Warren Ellis & Becky Cloonan have been added to the story lineup as contributors. Snyder and Capullo will reunite for a story, as will former 'TEC teams Dini & Nguyen and Tynion IV & Martinez. And Denny O'Neil is writing a sequel to There's No Hope in Crime Alley. www.newsarama.com/43171-ellis-king-cloonan-more-added-to-detective-comics-1000-line-up.htmlAnd Jim Lee's DETECTIVE #1000 is a wraparound. Here's the full thing: (Here's Capullo's too, for some variety and also because I just posted an unpopular image twice now. ;p )

That...that isn't any better. But Robin's there at least. And LOOK..... LOOK THERE'S HARLEY UP THERE!!! And Bats could only catch her by the leg, proving she's the most definitive Bat-foe or something.

Nice to see Jim has time to do covers but not time to complete his work on ASB&R. I would love to get paid for work that I am never going to do.

Scott Campbell was long ago supposed to finish some Spidey project with Jeph Loeb (remember when he was writing comics? yeah, that long ago) and never did.....IIRC, a lot of his Marvel cover work was basically a "pay off" to make up for that lost/ignored work. (as in, "Do all these things and we'll forget you apparently just never bothered doing that other job we contracted you for.") Same with Kevin Smith and that Bullseye mini.

Smith is another one that has a habit of getting paid for work he never did. Lee has been bad about starting a series then leaving it early since the Image days. Oddly you rarely see the fan press mention this.
