Age of Apocalypse can go away forever as far as I'm concerned.
Also, I'm really hoping Jason Aaron is barred from using Loki for at least 8 years after this War of the Realms thing happens. He makes Scott Snyder's use of the Joker look restrained by comparison.

I've been saying this for years; X-Men needs a return to basics worse than any other franchise.

Y'know, I may've jumped a smidge overboard with the Age of Apocalypse comment, as the main character's name IS IN THE TITLE. Age of X-Man. X-ManNate Grey. Seems this is gonna be something of an AoA revisitation mixed with that Age of X from several years back (I swear, I read that and don't even remember how it existed.....was that Legion too?) I'll spoiler the rest here, since they seem to explain a lot in a special (free!) comic from this past week which I found at a store this weekend that some of the writers were actually visiting a few days earlier... {Spoiler}So skimming the book a bit, Nate Grey is returning and factors into this opening UXM arc, which is weekly. He's sporting a new look, looking a lot like a certain prophet/Son of God , and he has a new batch of Horsemen.....not of the Apocalypse, but of Salvation. Magneto, Blob, Angel and.....gosh, someone else, I'm blanking. Presumably he creates some sort of AoA/AoX split in reality and we get this event spinning out UXM for a bit.

More deaths and rebirths and fake deaths and and cover ups for actual deaths! More teams! Did I mention more teams? Even more teams!

UXM just relaunched with a plethora of time travelling Madroxs doing.......something?........which was in the pretty immediate wake of a Multiple Man miniseries with equally strange time travelling conditions with a different group of Madroxs....? And X-Force is relaunching with a younger version of Cable, who time travelled back to kill the regular Cable and also maybe those time displaced original X-Men, who......are or are not truly time displaced because they may or may not have been replaced by the timeline in the past by the timeline.....? To a comic book fan, what I just said is somewhat sensible. To a non comic book fan, those words are the babblings of a raging psychotic who should be euthanized.

Madrox is one of the worst offenders in making X-Men stuff confusing as f***. I was about to bash them killing him off again in Inhumans vs. X-Men and blame that for this current weirdness, but PAD's X-Factor was full of a lot of time travelling nonsense with him before that. At least he had some ability to counter the nonsense with good character development, or at least play off the nonsense pretty well so that we didn't bash our heads in trying to figure it out. I have that Multiple Man mini and it's almost incoherent, and I checked out with the happenings of UXM #1.

I wouldn't be terribly surprised if Disassembled doesn't end in a House of M scenario to cull back the number of characters or partial retcon to straighten more stuff out...
edit: Also the time displaced X-men have been proven to be the actual Time Displaced X-men already... Young Scott died for a few minutes (he got better!) and Old Scott disappeared because of it.
then again later they ignored that and hinted that they weren't... but still...

Weird thing I just thought about: isn't it kind of odd that Bruce Wayne had no grandparents, uncles and aunts, or godparents? Or he did, and they were like "Ah, just let the butler raise him in isolation"? Gotham really is a harsh town.

He has a cousin, remember - Also, Pre-Crisis, Bruce was raised by his Uncle Philip, not Alfred.

Gotham really is a harsh town. if my memory serves, after Zero Hour in the updated origin story for Batman, he got “lost in the shuffle “ of bureaucratic paper work. Apparently Gotham’s child services were not that important so Bruce was over looked and somehow forgotten. And that happens a lot in the real world, I guess I could see it happening.

Wait, the richest orphan in the city got "lost in the shuffle"? The one who's parents' death made headlines because of who they are and how tragic it was? That seems a little out there, even by comic book logic.
