Would our favourite Lego-playing demon king be able, from a legal standpoint, to grace a PPV in Providence, RI in bodypaint reminiscent of the world's favourite Old One as an homage to HP Lovecraft? Would it be desirable? Thoughts?

If Finn Balor came to the ring dressed as C'Thulhu I would lose my f***ing shit.
I need this to happen.

I would have to think true Providence locals, and anyone reading this thread of course, would be the only ones who'd get it.
But hey, go for it Mr. Balorthulu....

All of HP Lovecraft's works are currently in the public domain (Arkham House owns the copyright to a lot of works in the Cthulhu mythos and claims they own the copyright to Lovecraft's novels, but they've never shown proof and their claims is very flimsy.)
So, yeah. Balor could absolutely dress up as Cthulhu if he wanted to in Providence or any other city.
