In NYC area we have two local teams and I've grown to live with that. But I hate when they cut out of an intresting ending to a one o'clock game that's running a bit long to the Giants or JEts 415 game. Couldn't they find a way to show the ending of the game. Is it really important if we see the opening kickoff and drive vs. the ending of a good game? Bastards.

You mean the Bears game was cut? Yes, right after the Vikings got the ball after the kickoff. Granted I didn't miss much but it could have been something.

I'm just making sure. I thought the bears game was on before the Giants game but I wasn't sure.

I'm just making sure. I thought the bears game was on before the Giants game but I wasn't sure. Well they cut out at 4:10 5 min before and I think the Bears killed the clock during the Kickoff or opening drive but the point is I didn't get to see the Vikings last chance.

Happen to me in week 2 on CBS. THey just had to get out to san diego so they didnt miss the kickoff between the CHargers and the Titans.

NFL has always had silly broadcast rules. Just do a seach online for The Heidi Game and you'll see how silly some of the rules are.

I hate blackout rules, myself. I don't have the money needed to get nosebleed tickets, so just because the home team doesn't sell out I can't watch the damn game? How do you expect any fensesitters to get interested in your damn team anyways?
Mind you, as a Colts fan I haven't had this issue in years, but it bugged me when they were 1-15 because I missed out on a few games.

luving giants sucked today. why they can only score 27 points in the 4th quarter i don't know. Second string defense playing prevent D. Anyone can score on that. And yeah, I hate the rules. I'm in DC during football season, and even if the Skins are on Fox, nothing else can be on, which sucks when the Eagles are on CBS.

Speaking of TV games, has anyone else experienced the following problem?
When I watch games, I like to turn down the volume and listen to the radio commentators. In the past, the two have synced up perfectly, i.e. what you heard on the radio would match the TV action. But when I tried to do this yesterday, there was a HUGE gap between the radio PBP and what happened onscreen; probably about 7 seconds. Really ruined things for me, especially since the radio guys are much better than the televison announcers.

DirecTV Sunday Ticket package boys and girls. It's worth it. The only way that it is worth the cost of the package is if you root for an out of market team, I live in NY and watch the Jets. If I want to see an out of market game I go to the sports bar and watch it from there.
