I'm not normally into golf, but for some reason I love watching this event. Europe absolutely spanked the Americans (which was nice), but I openly cried when Darren Clarke won his match and started crying. (if you didn't know his wife died about a month ago). I suppose I am gloating about beating the Americans, but I do think this event brings out the best sportsmanship in both sets of players (normally). So congratulations to Europe!

First basketball, now golf....what's next for the Europeans to beat us Football (American)?
Those Euros did a great job working their way over the Americans; they deserve the victory.

this is the same event that had English fans spitting at American players 2 years back right? Can't say I remember that. It was in America, so the coverage wasn't as big over here.

theres no other sport that is more boring to watch on TV than golf. tennis is up there as well, but golf, no way am I watching it, regardless if its the Masters, Ryder Cup, etc. unfortunately for me my parents are just the opposite in the sense that my stepdad basically plays 1-2 times a week, if theres time. all this golf talk from them makes me hate the game even more

I'll second at least the PTI part of that. Few things make me angrier than getting ready to watch Wilbon and Kornheiser only to see Phil Mickelson on the back nine.

First basketball, now golf....what's next for the Europeans to beat us Football (American)? Europeans winning in the NFL or beating Americans at football? Only if we can use our feet...Ha! Ha! Those Euros did a great job working their way over the Americans; they deserve the victory. They deserve nothing, I want piss tests!!! Actually, if you want, you could always use the "Yankee" or "Cowboy" argument into the fray by bragging about having more championships or a better record than the Europeans overall in the Ryder Cup.

I enjoyed the three days, though America were pretty shocking overall. Woods seemed like he didn't even care and the team itself just didn't seem to get along. Europe were a more cohesive unit and beating America in all three days shows it. Sergio Garcia was on fire up until yesterday and the Casey and Verplank hole in one's were cool.
Oh and Darren Clarke downing a pint of Guinness on live t.v. = Legend.

My favourite moment of the tournament was the look on Jim Furyk's face after every shot he potted. He was making some good putts but looked miserable as hell.
