Haha I'm picturing Vince telling them that they're all gonna get wwe contracts but first random drug test. They would all fail it. Especially EC3, he would fail it twice. I imagine it like. EC3 just walks into the testing area and before doing anything the machine kicks back fail. Yeah that poor bastard pisses in a cup and it would just melt. I wonder how much time he would have to wait before the steroids cycled off from his body.

The numbers would roll over and he'd look cleaner than Stone Cold's hairdryer.

I hope that they hire Marty Jannetty between now and then so Vince can fire him again for the LOLz.....

The Raw where HHH wipes his ass with the paperwork should be a good episode. "Yes, the name on the contract does read VKM..."

I'm all for it. TNA, due to both their fear of history and sheer incompetency, has made reliving my favorite moments all but impossible.

i didn't expect this one to get many posts, so thanks guys.
but it looks like most of us are in agreement: it would be great for all their stuff to end up on the network. lol

I seem to be in the minority but I don't like it. I don't want Vince to have a complete monopoly on the wrestling industry.

I don't want Vince to have a complete monopoly on the wrestling industry. he basically already does have a monopoly on the mainstream wrestling industry in the US, but there will always be indy and Japanese companies to watch (let's hope) i have the WWE network and while i only watch the WWE women's division as far as their newer content goes (i don't like most of the new heavywight wrestlers they have now, they're kinda boring to me) i still watch other things on the network like legends round table and such. it would be cool to get stuff like that for TNA and any other companies vince acquires as well

I rather not have Vince owning all the US based wrestling footage. Look at what he has done with Watt's Mid South/UWF. Put out one dvd set and unless something has changed very little Watts stuff is up on the Network.

Yes, it totally sucks, but McMahon more or less already does have a monopoly on the wrestling business in North America. He solidified that when he bought WCW.

He has a monopoly on mainstream wrestling. But there is plenty of indy wrestling still going on.To 70% of the wrestling fans out there in the US all they know about is WWE and TNA. But that seems to be changing. Thanks to stuff like Youtube and other alternative ways of broadcasting. Locally most of the people I see at indy shows had no idea what ROH was. Then it got on Destination America and they started watching it. I know of at least 15 people that have went and got an antenna just so they could get Comet and watch ROH each week. Anyways my point was for me I rather not have Vince owning all the US based wrestling footage. Cause like what was done with Mid South,if the WWE got say Don Owens Portland footage we would get one DVD set and that would be it. Look at Memphis. WWE doesn't own it. And it is easy to find pressed DVDS of Memphis footage for cheap. Plus there is piles of Memphis footage up on youtube. If WWE ever bought Memphis that would stop. I wondered why when last year when I got to meet Jerry Lawler and talked to him for a bit,he asked me if I knew anyone that had the Memphis stuff that would air on Channel 40 outta Jackson MS. He claimed he wanted copies for his personal collection. But after talking to lots of people that would know,it seems it is more Lawler is wanting to get as much Memphis footage he can get for when he finally sells it to WWE.

From the day TNA was created, it was inevitable that at some point WWE would end up owning it.

He claimed he wanted copies for his personal collection. But after talking to lots of people that would know,it seems it is more Lawler is wanting to get as much Memphis footage he can get for when he finally sells it to WWE. But that ties into the slight bump I had for this just to test it: When I noticed the Fight Network app on Roku, I just put it in for the TNA library "they did" have to get some wrestling....only to find (not sure if it's my problem, Roku, or Fight Network sucking- but Fight Network only puts one hour of the TNA PPVs, and it's the 'first' hour to boot.' I was here just to check for help or if it was Fight Network sucking/more LOLTNA stuff- but this ties into the same issue. Even if Vince owns the US based wrestling footage- you can't exactly deny that WWE is VERY, VERY GOOD with handling the footage. The Lawler Memphis issue you mentioned, or the issues with Don Owen's Portland footage- made them problems because in the old days, promoters handled their footage poorly- Don Owen notoriously used one master tape and needed everything you get now off of fans' VHS rips, or Lawler selling part of the library to whoever and needing the footage. And even the "one DVD and that's it" thing isn't there when it's "one DVD and that's it- and also "on the WWE Network if it works" (especially since, for example, Portland and Memphis would be pretty poor choices for DVDs even if WWE got them originally: Roddy Piper's death took the biggest WWE-friendly Portland star out of the picture to make fans want it, and all the Memphis footage that got out had enough big stars, and was released other places, that it's not hard to find discount wrestling DVDs of all the most tempting names to pass through Memphis who'd be surefire MUST-BUYS were released 10 or so years ago, with Memphis not being a white-hot territory since then or a red clay building ground since that happened. Short of MAYBE a couple American Dragon/Spanky matches from the time Memphis was a WWE developmental...there's really not a lot of WWE fan-specific MUST HAVE Memphis matches that couldn't be found on DVD if you knew where to look.)
