Which wrestling sibling do you feel is the most overshadowed by their more famous brother or sister?

I don't even know who Zak Zodiak is, so him. He's a member of the Knight family. Paige is his sister.

I'd probably have to go with Chris Von Erich. Not being able to succeed as a wrestler and live up to the Von Erich name was one of the factors of his suicide.

I gotta go with Houston and Robin who seemed like they were there because brother Aurelian asked Vince for a favor.

Shane McMahon. I mean his sister has done everything in business, and all he's done is buy shoes. To be fair, Jordan Brand also sends him a buncha shoes gratis.

I'd probably have to go with Chris Von Erich. Not being able to succeed as a wrestler and live up to the Von Erich name was one of the factors of his suicide. But didn't he fail despite being pushed? My Von Erich knowledge is admittedly limited, but how could he be overshadowed if he's constantly promoted as another member of the family? Or were they actually trying to bury him with his matches against Percy Pringle? In which case, yes, he's overshadowed.

I think the fact that he killed himself as he could never equal the success of his older brothers (and father) is a pretty big example of being overshadowed.

I generally look at an overshadowed person being someone who is equally good (if not better) than others, but doesn't get much love. It's hard for me to think Chris was overshadowed if he wasn't bringing much to the table in the first place.

I've got to give it to Sam Houston and Rockin' Robin. They're overshadowed by a great while also being so unnotable that the only thing I could remember from either of them was that Robin sang America the Beautiful at Mania 5. Everyone else had their own things going on and their own accomplishments, like Rick Steiner maybe being the Janetty to his brother, but their time together leading to a hall of fame worthy tag legacy, or Matt and Owen having done enough to be remembered and solid acts worthy of remembering all on their own. Or, in the case of Zak and Briley, not ever having reached a high level where anyone knows or gives a shit. But Jake the Snake's siblings showed up and nobody remembers them.

An interesting tidbit about Robin is that she was one of the rare women wrestlers at the time who did _not_ have to answer to/hand over her paychecks to Moolah (which may explain why her run as women's champ dried up.) She was trained, if memory serves, in her family's territory and also largely enjoyed a certain degree of protection because her brother was so over. I rather liked her, actually.

Kayfabe has to be Owen. His brother was so selfish he had to kick the leg out of his leg.

He was barely taller then 5 feet, had asthma, and had brittle bones, among other ailments. I believe his brothers put him with Percy Pringle so he wouldn't get too hurt with a real wrestler.
