Sheamus is also pretty lucky. He almost took a full shoulder block to the knee.

To be frank, suicide dives aren't special anymore. I mean so many people use them nowadays, we've seen virtually all the CWC competitors use them in almost all the tournament matches. Big E and Sasha use them in every match. Why bother doing this spot anymore?
Suicide dives are supposed to be a last resort type of move used to punish your opponent (that you kayfabe hate enough to damage yourself in the process of damaging them). It made sense for the Best of 7 since Sheamus and Cesaro had a great match storyline and they both wanted to tear each other apart, but they are literally the ONLY two Superstars who 'earned' using a suicide dive spot in the last few months, AFAIK.
Whipping out a topé suicida literally everytime somebody obviously lands outside the ring near the audience kills the specialness of the move. I'm more upset about that than the wrestlers risking neck injuries if we're being honest. They already know the physical risks of being a WWE Superstar, and with medical staff onhand even if someone is paralyzed for life doing a topé suicida they can only blame themselves for botching the move-- but ruining kayfabe so thoroughly to make me and millions of other members of the WWE Universe just dread it whenever they set up for the dive to the outside is just shameful.
I mean for fraks' sakes, the move is used almost as often as a headlock. I've seen less suplexes last night on Clash of Champions than I did suicide dives. That ain't right, Bobby.

If they need tips on how to dive just ask Diego Costa
Dude's a master
Joking aside, While I don't want the move to stop period Just limit the use of it.

I saw a longer version of this gif earlier and Sheamus stabilized Cesaro's neck after the dive, as if Sheamus thought Cesaro had a broken freakin' neck. True professional. Sheamus has always seemed like a total pro in there. Dude is safe and takes care of guys.
