I think they should have hhh interfere with rollins/owens next match, then hhh and rollins have their blowoff at survivor series, Brock beats owens, then have rollins use his brains to beat Brock at mania, while ambrose beats 16 time champ cena, and we will have another Batista/cena moment

I'd really, really rather not have the rub of beating Brock go to Rollins. Aside from that, if they actually figure out how to write Rollins as a sympathetic babyface by Mania, then sure, put the belt on him there, though I'd much rather it go to Finn.

Brock needs to stay far away from that belt. HHH needs to not interfere in KO's first ppv defence.

Seth retiring HHH with the Pedigree would be bigger then the Universial title though

Like somebody else said, if they can actually do a decent job of making him a decent babyface by then, then by all means I'm all for it. But right now the only reason he is cheered is because of his skill, and not because of any sort of relatability or likeability. To me, a babyface World Title win at WrestleMania should be an emotional ride, that right now Seth Rollins doesn't have on his side. If the Universal Title is gonna have that at WrestleMania 33 the options are Finn Balor's return and road to redemption, or Sami Zayn achieving his dream by beating his arch nemesis at WrestleMania.

I'd agree on Brock, except right now the only two being pushed as legit competitors for the belt are Rollins and Jericho. Unless Balor is coming along quickly (and I wouldn't rush him, you can tell by the booking and how the roster looks that they were banking a LOT on Balor, so let him heal up), the only other options are Rollins, Jericho, or an NXT callup. I think you can wait until the Rumble for Brock to beat Owens.

At this point I say Seth's next run with the top title should happen around the first of never.

They should be able to build up a contender or champ enough to make a great match. They were counting on Balor but this is hardly the first time someone they had plans for was injured. If they were going to give Brock the title going into WM season they need to build someone up to beat him clean (someone the fans want).

If they were going to give Brock the title going into WM season they need to build someone up to beat him clean (someone the fans want). Right, but they need to get on it. Seth right now has lost several PPV main events in a row, and likely ain't winning this next one. They've backtracked on Seth so much that there ain't no "quick fix". IF the endgame is Rollins/Lesnar at Mania, they need to get to work on making Seth look strong, cause he ain't been booked to look even competent (let alone strong) since he came back. And Jericho vs. Brock at Mania? I get the desire to want to see the match, but you'd pretty much have to turn Jericho in order for it to work, and that ain't happening. Sure, Jericho could win the belt off Owens and then Brock could chase him to Mania, but Jericho ain't exactly that "people wanna see him get what's coming to him" kind of heel right now (I'd argue the only heel on the whole roster succeeding in that regard is Miz, and maybe Corbin to a lesser extent). Plus Brock and Heyman's entire shtick has been "Brock gets what he wants when he wants it or we walk, and you can't afford to have THIS guy walk". It would make no sense for Brock to sit on a title shot for months and months. And if their endgame is someone outside of those two, then I go back to what I said about Seth; they need to get their asses in gear. Yeah, they have 6 months, but that's essentially 3 since the Rumble is when it all gets in gear. You might be able to buy a month if you have the Rumble winner be a Smackdown guy, but that's it. By the buildup to Fastlane (or whatever they'll call the "Road to Wrestlemania" PPV(s) now), you better have your ducks in a row.

Nah I'm straight on another Seth title run. Let him clear up his babyface act and then it could be an option again.

I'd say all creative roads for the Universal title still lead to Balor walking out with it at Wrestlemania. He drew huge for them for Summerslam, and they've only just begun with Finn. Seth may have a Wrestlemania moment, but it won't be winning that title (maybe beating a heel Roman for the US title?)

But Roman needs his 3rd Wrestlemania Moment to look strong!

I think the Universal title match will be the lesser world title match at Mania, and Smackdown gets the main event with Cena going for #16.
Just typing that makes me remember why I hated the brand split in the first place, but oh well.

Its not really a Batista/Cena moment when both have been champion about 10 times before.
