They never got a fair chance on the main roster. This gimmick needs weeks of vignettes and strict adherence to kayfabe. WWE just threw them into the fray without a plan. Also, their old theme was way better and more fun for the fans.

Has anyone from NXT gotten any kind of streak going? Sure Enzo and Cass are over with people but they do not win. The women are probably the only ones with any kind of sustained push behind them.

Isn't Finn Balor undefeated on the main roster? He's injured, but he pretty obviously is in the "Big Deal, Fairly Quick" tier.

American Alpha have been treated pretty well, I think. They're trying to give them a story for their big title win as opposed to just putting belts on them straight away and peaking before they're over on the main roster.

How exactly would they be over anyway? The gimmick is so strange that no one really gets what they are doing. When I think of vaudeville I think of guys doing wacky comedy routines and song and dance acts. One guy here is a circus strongman type and the other is...I'm not sure. Either way they won't sniff being over.

The amusing aspect of the New Day feud they had is that New Day are actually much more like vaudevillians.

Gotch should never injured Enzo. They never were the same since. But I don't see how a bad New Generation gimmick was going to get over on the main roster. Even the Full Sail crowd turned on them before the callup.
