Monty Brown for when he was as hot as a person could be but we know what happen to that
Christopher Daniels mostly for legacy reasons because he def deserves to have a championship on his resume. Could of easily given him the title when him and AJ had their personal feud.

Monty Brown. He had massive breakout potential that TNA horse pissed away because Double J was afraid of it happening. TNA sabotage him every time he was getting fuego. Still irks me that it never came to be.

There are two correct answers. Christopher Daniels and the master of the pouuuuuuunce! Period! Pretty much. I went with Monty though because he was damned red hot before TNA cut his legs off by turning him heel.

Matt morgan had two chances - during the Main Event Mafia angle where he was dominating competition and got a shot at Sting's title and when he started bullying Hulk Hogan and took his Thunderlips robe right in front of him.

This is a tough one for me. To me, I've always viewed Christopher Daniels as the most talented TNA wrestler to never hold the World title. On the other hand, you had Monty Brown who, while nowhere near the in-ring worker that Daniels was, had charisma and starpower written all over him and the crowd was white-hot for him.

Monty Brown and it is not even close. He should have been bigger than AJ (at least early on), he was TNA's most complete (homegrown) wrestler. Blowing it with him is inexcusable and had WWE had more time with him, I think TNA's handling of guys like Magnus, AJ, Joe and Roode would have been far different.

I'm sad that Kip James is on this list and The Pope isn't. Dude was on fire when he came to TNA. The crowds wanted to see him win and, for a while, it looked like TNA was going to pull the trigger. Then they TNA'd it all, he lost a casket match to Abyss, turned heel, had a horrible feud with Joe, got upstaged by Orlando Jordan, lost all sense of purpose and eventually became the "better" half of an announce team that also included Josh Mattews.
Monty Brown probably deserved it more, but if anyone could give Brown a run for his money in terms of getting shafted in this company, Pope would be that guy (or at least one of many).

Monty Brown had everything that could have been there first legit mega star. Great look, solid worker, good mic charima, and as a face was getting red hot but stupid TNA turned him heel and killed him. Daniels is second for me. These 3 along with Joe and AJ should been what the company should be built around. Angle and Sting as the support to get them the main steam fans to buy into it. The Pope is a close Third for the same reasons. Add him with above and Roode. That's a hell of a Main Event picture. With Angle.
I would said Punk but he was gone before he started to really catch fire and become known. Just as he became more a ROH and other center piece he was done with TNA.

It's sad that guys like Chris Sabin and Eric Young have had runs with the belt but Christopher Daniels never did. He should have at least traded it with AJ. He's a great worker and a great promo guy. His Fallen Angel gimmick was awesome. I didn't care for his character / image change when he fought Sting for the title. It wasn't over and TNA obviously didn't think so either.

Pope is a good 3rd place behind the main two. His gimmick when he first came in with the falling money was errr, well money.
Desmond Wolfe too was on fire until Hogan killed him and then he had to retire.

It's been a decade now and The Monty Brown Injustice feels like a topic that has been around since man existed, his mishandling an indisputable fact sewn as part of the Earth's fabric. The rare wrestling opinion that everyone agrees is actually truth. There's beauty in this tragedy and we must continue to tell Monty's story.

Only one correct answer Period. And yeah, had he not the family tragedy and left the WWE, he would have been big in WWE. The reports were that Vince was big on him and saw him as a star.

Monty is one of the big wrestling What if's. Twice. what if TNA wasn't stupid and strapped a rocket on to him instead of turning heel and joining Jarrett for no real reason. and What if he doesn't leave the WWE for personal reasons, since management was reportedly really high on him.

Monty fn Brown, had charisma oozing through him, could talk, looked like a million bucks, had one of the most recognizable finishers, great catchphrases.
I know let's feed him to Jeff Jarrett and turn him heel.
To quote the late Mike Graham, "He broke six thousand guitars, never drew a dime, but he thought in his little Tenessee brain that he was better than Hulk Hogan."
