This was my fantasy booking:
After dropping the title to Sting at Starracde, Hogan blames the other members for not helping. Nash defends them, saying that Hogan has gone from wanting a revolution to an insecure man.
At Superbrawl, the rematch between hogan and sting is a no contest and at Uncensored Nash costs Hogan the title and a cage match. Sting moves into a feud between the Horsemen, Flock and Hart Foundation, while Nash and Hogan are involved in a series of matches. NWo splits, with Hogan, a rejoining Giant, Steiner, Adams, and Hennig in the white and black and Nash,Hall, Luger, Bagwell and Konan in the Wolfpac.
The celebrity matches at BatB and Road Wild involve Nash and Hogan, and the battle lines are drawn at Fall Brawl, where the losing nWo faction must disband. White and black wins after Hall turns on them. Hogan ends up getting the title back at Halloween Havoc, and the stage is set for Hogan vs Goldberg along with Nash vs Hall at Starrcade.
Goldberg Goes over Hogan at Starracde. Hogan again berates the nWo, and puts his career on the line for a rematch at the Georgiadome. Hogan wins a match the night after Starrcade, letting him pick the stipulation, and he chooses a lumberjack match. The nWo members leave Hogan behind and Goldberg retains. Hogan returns in June at GaB in red and yellow as a part timer, and the nWo is virtually disbanded and just known as the Wolfpac, Nash and Hall, who reunite.

It should have been booked like this: Starrcade '97 - Hogan losing the title at Starrcade (Dont vacate it, let Sting keep it... WCW had an obsession with vacating the title, there was absolutely no need to do that) this starts to cause dissention in the ranks as thngs for the nWo are now falling apart. Superbrawl '98 - Hollywood Hogan vs Bret Hart match, this is following Bret's interference at SC, Bret beats Hogan (yes we know this wouldnt happen in reality probably) when nWo interference backfires. Then the follow up to this is the nWo implodes, the Wolfpac break off into thier own small group causing Bischoff and Hogan to regroup, they fire all of the B team crap and create their own small nWo Hollywood group. I guess the members of each team are subjective depending on what angles you want to run, but id put Hall and Nash on opposing sides to start a program and then for the rest of the year you have two small warring factions, while all of the excess leftover from the nWo can be repackaged or move onto other things, instead of being nWo lemmings. People like Curt Henning, Rick Rude so on and so forth could have benefited from being dissociated. Well of course common sense logic tells you that Hogan's fantasy clean loss should lead to either a)him being expelled from the group and replaced with another WWE megastar like Bret Hart b)civil war within NWWO that could lead to two factions and new leadership Problem is in our reality both logical scenarios would render Hogan weak. And as we all know that couldn't happen. Hogan for president was his personal f'everybody look what I can do, he was having a blast during that period and there was no chance in hell he would have dropped it for anyone or anything.
