Not sure what to expect or what the right move would be with Roode / Dillinger. Dillinger getting the win would be a great moment and be pretty rewarding after the struggles he's gone through, but he's probably main roster bound soon while Roode is probably the next challenger for Nakamura. I'd be very surprised if Dillinger actually wins here. As harsh as it sounds, he's the sympathetic fall guy so Roode can get some actual heel heat.

Yeah, Dillinger is here because he's the one guy in existence that won't get completely booed out of the building in Toronto. Meanwhile, I'm willing to bet Roode is going to be challenging for the NXT title at NXT Takeover: Orlando (name pending).

Funny how Tye and Bobby are both from Ontario. Must be grear for them competing at such a show

Based on results from the NXT show in Los Angeles tonight, the Dusty Tag Classic Tournament Final WILL BE... {Spoiler}TM61 v The Authors Of Pain
TM61 defeated SAnitY in the first semi final, while interference from The Revival led to The Authors Of Pain defeating #DIY in the other semi. Maybe that will lead to another Revival v #DIY tag title match for Toronto.

We just saw that match at Brooklyn, and TM61 weren't exactly on their level. That seemed like the least interesting combo of the four.

Out of all the possible outcomes, they went with the rematch of a match that wasn't that great to begin with. Awful.

I was planning to buy secondary tickets for this Takeover, but the card is underwhelming.
I did get tickets for Smackdown Live in Ottawa which will have an NXT taping before for much less on the official ticket master site. Shocking to see how many seats are still left. I got 2 front row tickets for half of what I would pay for NXT Takeover. Lol.
I'll be checking the prices closer to the date, but a rematch between Joe and Nakamura and disappointing spoilers are souring the idea of going live. Oh well.

Is Asuka still turning heel at this show?

Added to the card... The Revival v #DIY for the tag belts, in a 2/3 Falls match.

In something delightfully old-school for the Dusty Classic Final, due to his interference in the semi final bout and to prevent it happening in the final, Paul Ellering will be suspended above the ring in a cage.

Can't say I'm too terribly interested in any particular match on this card but like any Takeover, I'm sure I'll be blown away by the end of it.

My interpretation of the team is that Nick is the straight man while Shane is the goofball. I've likened it to the original Hart Foundation, with Thorne being a manic nutbag (Neidhart) with Miller as the more composed one (Bret). It's a shame that they've haven't quite gotten that big following yet, because they're talented enough to warrant it for sure. At least there hasn't been an out-and-out backlash like Almas got.
