...that got you into watching wrestling?
When I was 3 or 4, i remember my older brothers watching wwf tv and the guy who i thought was the coolest wasn't hulk hogan, but the Dynamite kid. I liked how fast he was and how he would flip and fly. Whenever the Bulldogs were on tv, i was in front of it.

I don't really remember but probably Hogan. Maybe Warrior I don't know it was so long ago now. I know that Austin got me back into it though after I lost interest.

Either Yokozuna or Barry Horowitz (pre-push).
Seriously.

My favorites as a kid were Bret Hart, Undertaker and Tatanka.
I took a hiatus in the mid 90s for a few years and Mankind got me back into it in late 98 with the Royal Rumble 99 being the first PPV I ordered when I got back into it.

World Class: Iceman King Parsons had such a unique look, interview style and finisher. (How can 8 year old you not like a guy whose finisher is the "butt-butt"?)

DiBiase and Duggan. What's crazy is that it wasn't even an actual match - it was a "tuxedo match" where the winner was the one that got the biggest audience reaction. After the match (Duggan won), DiBiase went into the parking lot with a baseball bat and took it to Hacksaw's car.
Not long after that, I caught a tag match (also Mid-South) at a friends house that had Kamala teaming up with Kareem Muhammad of the Zambuie Express and I've been part of this insanity ever since.

Goldberg and DDP. Goldberg was the main one who got me hooked which makes it hard to be so down on the Lesnar rematch, but for the longest time the one WWE return I wanted more than any other was DDP. From the minute he got his injury & left literally every single time there was a mystery opponent match I was hoping it'd be DDP, even now I marked like crazy for his Rumble appearance and a part of me wanted him to win it. Ditto the Andre Invitational this year.

Kerry Von Erich. He was the man with the Claw and taking down all the bad guys my mom cheered on. Sting got me hooked on NWA/WCW.

Randy Savage and Ultimate Warrior. I loved the bright, crazy designs on their ring gear; it looked like something from a Saturday-morning cartoon.

Ricky Steamboat. The Karate Kid was a popular movie at the time and Steamboat just added to my interest in martial arts.

Randy Savage completely hooked me as a kid. I was a casual watcher for a couple years but he really pulled me in.

I guess Hogan. I had watched a couple WWF shows but my neighbor who was two years older had a copy of WM 3, he put the VHS tape on and my jaw dropped.
Watched the whole show, cheered the good guys hated the bad guys. It looked like Hogan was fighting a real life monster and he couldn't beat him, I mean he was bigger than him? Hogan won and my 8 year old self was hooked. I had a new hero.

The Road Warriors and The Fabulous Freebirds stiffing the hell of each other in 1985 AWA. I loved both teams.

Ricky Steamboat. I first saw wrestling at a friend's house in the mid 80s, and while everyone else liked Hogan, I noticed that it was the same match format all the time. Something about Steamboat just appealed to me - he was more athletic, he had cool music, and the fact that he'd had his throat crushed by Savage and was out for revenge was very intriguing to me.
On a side note, my dad thought that wrestling was the biggest load of rubbish he'd ever seen.....until he saw Hacksaw Jim Duggan. He'd laugh at his antics, his interviews, his mannerisms, to the point where he'd watch his matches with me. This lead to him watching other matches as well, and from that he became a fan too.

I really can't remember when exactly I started watching wrestling, but I took to Hogan, Warrior, Bret, Undertaker and HBK at a young age. Hogan was probably my first favorite. Hulkamania was a little before my time, but I watched him in WCW before he turned heel (had one of those big ass rubber action figures) and on old WWF tapes my mom rented for me.
