Grand Theft Auto: Mars. What? It'd be something new for the series. Saints Row pretty much ruined Mars. And aliens. And Hell. I want either a GTA in Las Venturas or a Red Dead game.

My body is ready for a next-gen Red Dead. First person view as you ride a horse around the countryside? Sign me the f*** up!
Hell, to be honest, I'd take a remastering of the first game, especially if they included Undead Nightmare.
Goddamn, now I've gotten myself to Mojo Rawley levels of hype.

Wasn't Redemption remastered when it became available for Xbox One? Or did it just look better on that more powerful system?

Seriously though, I still play Red Dead Redemption, a new game would be the best thing ever.

I only pray that it's released on the 360, because my ass ain't buying another system(don't play games much) and Blockbuster isn't still around to offer Xbox One console rentals. Red Dead Redemption is probably my favorite game ever and I must play this shit.

remake The Warriors, that game was the best I'd like to see them try other cult film video game adaptations. I know it would never happen, but a video game of Romereo's Dawn of the Dead would be f***ing awesome.

It was just ported up, they literally didn't change a thing, it's just run through an emulator via the Xbone IIRC.

I'm hoping for it to be RDR 2 and for it to be a prequel - Marston as younger man in the gang, and his adventures with them and first meeting his wife etc.
However, sadly, it'll likely be a totally new game with a totally new cast.

As much as I'd love to play Marston again, I think this should be a new setting and cast. Let RDR2 stand on its own.

yeah it's red dead 2
also would you play a GTA game that DOESN'T involve the acquirement of the money, but rather the acquirement of POWER?

If it's a Red Dead game, they should have a female lead character, and the option of building your own ranch and owning land.

I always laugh at the notion that nobody remember that Red Dead Revolver was a thing, thus Red Dead Redemption is technically "Red Dead 2", so people asking now for Red Dead 2 are just asking for the same game they already have played.

That's because Red Dead Revolver wasn't that great, and not many people played it. Whereas Redemption was amazing and sold incredibly well. Plus, it's not like Revolver was related in any way, closest it gets is that you hear some people telling the story of Revolver at camp fires.

Besides the similarity in the title, Redemption has nothing to do with Revolver. So it stands to reason that Red Dead Redemption is the first in a series, and so when people ask for Red Dead 2, they're asking for the sequel to Red Dead Redemption.

I just found it funny guys, chill. Yeah, I know Revolver was "eh" at best, but as far we know the series is "Red Dead" and it has two games: "Revolver" and "Redemption". Heck, wouldn't shock me if the third was named "Reloaded".

If it's a Red Dead game, they should have a female lead character, and the option of building your own ranch and owning land. While there are quite a few famous females of the wild west era, I think you might struggle to build a whole game around one just because of the disadvantages/drawbacks of being a female in that time that would cause to the flow of the game. I do think playing as a female lead would be good, I just dont see how you write that story in this time period without either making the female character unlikeable, a victim or a political soapbox. It's important the game retain the sense of realism Redemption had, but I dont think many people would expect a Rockstar game to make some deep point about women's lib etc in the mid to late Nineteenth Century, which might then hurt the income.... Perhaps a split game, where you play as a bandit couple? That would be a good way to avoid some of the pitfalls of having a solo female in that time period, but still get a female lead
