After coming off a harrowing bye week, it's time for the lone undefeated Minnesota Vikings to get back to work, and must go to Philly to stay undefeated. Meanwhile, the real best team in the league New England Patriots go to Pittsburgh to battle... Landry Jones, because Roethlisberger is out. So the only Big Ben you'll see is when the Giants and Rams take a European Vacation for another London game.
THURSDAY, OCTOBER 20TH 8:25 PM ET BEARS AT PACKERS SUNDAY, OCTOBER 23RD 9:30 AM ET GIANTS AT RAMS 1:00 PM ET SAINTS AT CHIEFS 1:00 PM ET COLTS AT TITANS 1:00 PM ET VIKINGS AT EAGLES 1:00 PM ET BROWNS AT BENGALS 1:00 PM ET REDSKINS AT LIONS 1:00 PM ET RAIDERS AT JAGUARS 1:00 PM ET BILLS AT DOLPHINS 1:00 PM ET RAVENS AT JETS 4:05 PM ET BUCCANEERS AT 49ERS 4:05 PM ET CHARGERS AT FALCONS 4:25 PM ET PATRIOTS AT STEELERS 8:30 PM ET SEAHAWKS AT CARDINALS MONDAY, OCTOBER 24TH 8:30 PM ET TEXANS AT BRONCOS
BYE: PANTHERS/COWBOYS

I just find it cool that the best teams in the league operate on a similar level of "next man up".
Star player(s) gone? No worries. We are called a damn TEAM for a reason. We'll make it work.
If Green Bay or Indy lost their QB's they would be a dumpster fire. But the Pats/Vikings/Cowboys lose theirs and just keep on throwing haymakers.

Good defending by the Bears. But we open in the lead.

This might be the most uninspired Color Rush uniform matchup we've seen so far. Both teams are wearing their standard uniforms but with monochromatic pants to match.
If you're going to promote Color Rush, then go all the way with it and be outlandish and ridiculous. At least when the Buccaneers and Rams were ketchup and mustard or the Titans and Jaguars went powder blue versus puke green, even though they were hideous eyesores, they represented what Color Rush was supposed to be. The Bears easily could have donned orange instead of blue or the Packers could have gone with yellow or all green.

Well, Green Bay was supposed to wear these: Green Bay didn't want to use them, so to compromise they just wear white pants to "promote" the program.

Just reported, Hoyer out with a broken arm.
However thanks to my years of being a pro wrestling fan, I was able to deduce this when while Hoyer was being escorted off the field, I saw a deputy make the X symbol with his arms.

This is fun to watch though.
Seeing Aaron Rodgers and the Packers having to scratch and claw against a one armed Brian Hoyer, Matt Barkley & the 1-5 Bears at home is somehow must see TV to me.

Crosby misses the PAT after a penalty but Cobb has given us a 26-10 lead.

At the risk of igniting a firestorm, I've seen something recently brought up:
During the height of Deflategate, it became common knowledge that Aaron Rogers prefers his footballs to be over-inflated. Starting last season the NFL started a stricter protocol regarding the PSI levels and how the footballs are monitored before games.
Low and behold, since then his numbers are down and his QB rating is down 30 points. Probably a coincidence/other factors...but.... it does kinda make me pause for a second.

I can see the theory, but I just don't see it in practice. Maybe its just me, but wouldn't it be harder for the receivers to to catch an over inflated ball.

I mean, I' think so....but, by all accounts Rogers consistantly used with over-inflated footballs , so it'd stand to reason that his receivers would be accustomed to it. Again, by no means am I saying there's any proof that the new policies and his statistical downturn are related, nor am I saying that I'm completely convinced of that fact. I'm just suggesting that the numbers do create an interesting question.
