to serious bo which no one wants to see. Although Axel did cut a decent promo and seemed to get the fans behind him so maybe better things will come to him in the future, but right now I'm mad they couldn't give him just one win over Bo who's been awful since his gimmick change

I'm fairly certain its a local thing but What is Skol? Why was it on his shirt and why were they chanting it?

They should've had him win with a surprise Perfect-Plex later on in the match, maybe after taking a beat-down from Bo, and then give them a quick final match at the PPV with Bo winning comprehensively. It might've been more interesting than what has happened, but honestly it's not exactly exciting either way.

I think the intent now is to build him up as at least a midcard contender face. Openly acknowledging his family ties is not a bad way to go about it; crowing about them now certainly gives the sense that he's going to try at least to live up to that legacy. Bo Dallas and Bray Wyatt, on the other hand, have still not be acknowledged on as belonging to Mike Rotundo and Barry Windham's sister; and while their gimmicks have been entertaining to an extent, neither has really set the Universe on fire.

To be fair, it was just a fluke roll up loss. Any momentum he might've has is still there. Dude works good as a goofy face.

I was kinda hoping axel would win, I've always held out a tiny hope that he'd at least become a relevant midcarder again and thought this might be the start of it. then again wwe likes to have the hometown person lose a lot lately.
I also had the idea after the promo where axel would win and become this unstoppable force-in Minnesota where he never lost but was his usual else everywhere else in the world. then after the commentators pointed it out he'd come out one day and challenge brock to match- in Minnesota- cause the state's not big enough for the two of them!
sure he'd be destroyed but it'd be funny having the announcers trying to make him sound a like a threat "well you know axel has yet to lose in his home state, it like he has a second gear fighting in front of his hometown fans. brock could be in trouble here." then graves shuts him down "dammit saxton brock's from Minnesota too you idiot. i'm telling Jericho to put you on THE LIST!"

Can we please stop with the hometown hero losing in their hometown? It's become so overused and predictable.
