He beat John Cena for a Championship. That's probably his biggest claim to fame. Otherwise his WWE career was largely forgettable.

It wasn't much, but at least it wasn't his TNA career.

I remember being kind of impressed with him during his initial blue chipper matches. Then it felt like he regressed and the most entertaining thing was things Benoit can possibly do quicker then beating Orlando Jordan.

Will it take less than 25 seconds? Whoa now. 25 seconds is a little bit lofty, isn't it? I don't see how anyone could stretch it that long.

Hobestly liked him and the cabinet and just that era of smackdown in general. Him bitching out to Benoit is probably what he was going to be known for before coming out and working tna

There was that whole TNA thing... His TNA theme was dope, TBH. Fit his character perfectly.

Orlando Jordan once (literally) held the WWE Title, faced the Ultimate Warrior in his FINAL MATCH EVER, had his hand shook by The Undertaker, once beat John Cena for a championship, and once successfully defended against Chris Benoit for that same championship. If you gave me those facts on a sheet of paper and I was oblivious to virtually everything else about his existence (including him not actually being WWE Champion) I would have placed this guy in the Hall of Fame.

Didn't he debut by answering Cena's open challenge on the anniversary of Cena answering Kurt Angle's open challenge?
That went...much differently for Orlando.

I honestly thought he was going to be the next John Cena in terms of them strapping a rocket to him. Thankfully it didn't happen.

Can we talk about JBL wrestling Godzilla instead? That was at least amusing and doesn't want me to stick a needle in my brain because I remember OJ.

Held the US Championship for 173 days. If there were guys where you forgot they held belts, he was one of them. John Cena beat him up on his 1 year anniversary.

When I fantasy booked the WWE back during this time, I brought him in under the name "Lando," doing a Blaxploitation gimmick. At one point he was tag team partners with Bobby Lashley, who I gave the name "Flex Franklin."
