Remember that argument George and Jerry had over the pronunciation of statute of limitations? Well, if they did make a statue of limitations, it would be the 08 Lions.
I think the browns , no need to capitalize, might get a win this season.

They got 6 games against teams gunning for the playoffs & none want to get a hiccup against the Browns.

I could see them beating a team that has already qualified for the playoffs resting there starters. But that's it and that's a slim chance

But that's it and that's a slim chance Pittsburgh will likely gunning for the division or wild card at the end. Cannot see them resting up against Cleveland.

If you go back to 2014 the Browns are 3-26 in their last 29 (lost the last 5 games of 2014, 3-13 last year and 0-8 this year)
From 2007-2010 the Lions went 5-47 (1-7 in the 2nd half of 2007, 0-16 and then 2-14 and started 2010 2-10)
I'm finding it impossible to declare a winner out of these two abominations but that Detroit record is putrid!

My vote goes to a third option; the 76 Bucs.

I was in Michigan in 08, and it was fascinating as by the end of the season we were rooting for that perfect season. We had taken ownership of it, and somehow felt vindicated by it.

If the 1972 Dolphins pop their champagne after the last undefeated team loses, how do the 2008 Lions (and the 1976 Bucs) celebrate when the last winless team wins a game?

If the 1972 Dolphins pop their champagne after the last undefeated team loses, how do the 2008 Lions (and the 1976 Bucs) celebrate when the last winless team wins a game? They save the champagne for when teams actually go winless, to celebrate that they aren't the only ones to suck that bad. It also saves on the champagne budget. The Browns have a good shot at winning one game. They've played close games with decent teams, so it's not a given that any team in the playoff picture is going to beat them. I'd bet on them winning one pretty easily unless the odds were screwed.

QB - BROWNS (Kessler is a half way decent game manager, better than Orlovsky and Kitna were)
RB - BROWNS Crowell and Johnson are actually a decent duo. Crowell might finish near 1000 yards and Johnson is a serviceable receiving back. Compared to Kevin Smith and Rudi Johnson duo they're a little better)
WR - LIONS (Calvin Johnsons numbers for a team that didn't win a game are insane)
TE - BROWNS Barnidge is a decent TE, Shaun McDonald is a nobody
SPECIAL TEAMS - LIONS (Cody Parkay is bad and Jason Hanson was really good)
DEFENSE - BROWNS ( The Lions defense was atrocious, 4 INTS, 28 SACKS, Browns at least have 2 playmakers in Collins and Haden)
