Bob Holly didn't actually win the World Title at WrestleMania XX. Outside of the joke there a real, related one: No matter what gimmick he was under-be it Hardcore Holly, Bombastic Bob, Job Squadder, Sparky Plugg, what have you: Bob Holly never held the Intercontinental Championship in his career. (It's strange- I think a lot of people seem to just assume at one point he won the Intercontinental Title, and I have no clue how it happened.) In 1995, Bob Holly defeated Jeff Jarrett for the Intercontinental Championship on an episode of Action Zone but Jarrett's foot was on the ropes. The title was held up and Jarrett immediately beat Holly in a rematch to regain the title. As such, Holly's reign was never officially recognised. However, there were times on commentary where Holly was called a former Intercontinental Champion too. Michael Cole says it at St. Valentine's Day Massacre.

That the blindfold match between Jake the Snake and Rick Martel sucked. It didn't, it was awesome, everyone is wrong!

That theme is badass. They should use that shit for someone right now. Yeah, if they still own it, I think it could be sampled at the very least. It's the perfect underdog theme for a certain chinless hero.

Real American was written for Hogan. It was written for the short lived US express of Windham/Rotundo. Since they didn't get to use it much and it was a fairly well known artist and a catchy tune to boot that WWF owned the rights to they shifted it to Hogan and scrapped his very lame Hulk Hogan theme that was used on the cartoon. www.youtube.com/watch?v=efQlv3wPS4oIs there any actual footage of him using this? I know his very original theme was Eye of the Tiger, did he use this in between that and Real American, or was this only used for the cartoon? I thought he used Eye Of The Tiger when he was in AWA?

In 1997, JR said that Bob Holly "had a cup of coffee with the Intercontinental title" as he was wrestling then-champion Owen Hart. By that logic, Savio Vega is a former I-C champion as well, and I don't think I've ever heard anybody mention that.

The Hog Pen match being a part of HHH's punishment for his involvement in the curtain call (at least by the VTs WWE show themselves). The Hog Pen match took place in December '95 and the MSG curtain call wasn't until May 1996. Also, Warrior squashing him was at WrestleMania XII, weeks before the Curtain Call. And, the idea that Triple H plummeted to the absolute bottom and was jobbing left and right to guys like Barry Horowitz for a whole year; he was Intercontinental Champion in October and had a program lined up with Curt Hennig.

I don't know why wrestling promotions that want to do "blindfold" matches don't actually use blindfolds and instead put bags over the guys' heads. It looks ridiculous.

People often get confused on who is and isn't a former Intercontinental Champion. I've seen people think (including myself for a time) that X-Pac, Faarooq, Savio Vega and Rick Martel were all former IC champs when they weren't.

This is not as common, and I guess it can be explained because of the stalking he did, but I met a lot of people who seem to think Edge last eliminated Cena from the 2010 Royal Rumble by spearing him.

Ask two '80s wrestling fans, and they will argue to the death whether Vince McMahon either called the move: "A BAAAAAAAAAACK BODY DROPPPPPPP!", or, "A BIGGGGGGG BAAAAAAAAAACK BODY DROPPPPPPP!" You're both right. He said it both ways. Now stop it.

I swear I've seen Batista go to the top rope all the time, but Michael Cole would constantly say it'd never happened before.

The "Owen voice" is a Mandela effect as never did JR or King take a somber/serious tone to explain what happened to Owen Hart at Over the Edge 1999. JR just pretty matter of factly stated that what happened wasn't a storyline or planned and that Owen was rushed to a medical facility then showing some shots of the crowd before going to the next segment.

I don't think I've ever seen Hogan come to the ring to the Jim Steinman music from the cartoon. However, I have seen footage of the US Express using 'Real American.' Steinman ended up re-working the Hulk Hogan cartoon music into a song for Bonnie Tyler.
So the US Express did use Real American at least once. Also, they clearly say the song was for them on The Wrestling Album. I wonder if early on Vince or Hogan thought the song was so good that they should give it to Hogan instead considering how quickly it became Hogan's theme.

Something about DX riding a tank into WCW and embarrassing them, helping put them out of business.
DX rode a jeep with a cannon, WCW was still pretty prominent...and when they show that tickets were still available. That event actually was sold out.
Bischoff even said later that if he was aware, he would've gladly allowed them to come into the arena.

Someone said somewhere that Batista slept with "Melina" and everyone assumed that they had an affair at some point, probably not helped by the angle where it happened. The woman Batista actually slept with was Milena, better known as Rosa Mendes.

"Hulk's Theme" sounds like TV theme or mid-movie Montage music. They made the right call.
