So Ive just given up at this point. Whatever unofficial record they are chasing against demolition will be broken. The match in itself was okay but it's hard to feel sympathy for them when they talk shit and always have a man advantage

They aint dropping them until they break Demolitions record, the way I see it anyway, I love the guys and they really need to drop them, but I don't think they will until then.
Should be on Enzo and Cass pronto though...

I'm willing to bet that the day after they break Demolition's record just so Vince can finally erase them, they'll drop the belts.

As soon as that record came into the story, I doubt they're gonna lose 'til just before it's done or having broken it.

I want them break that stupid record and was happy with the DQ since it gets them through Nov. most likely and then it is a short time to breaking it and getting new champs. Them trying to choose 4 other teams should be fun since I don't think Raw has but 4 (and one of those is thrown thousand my not make it.)

Right now they can lose the belts to either Enzo and Cass or Sheamus and Cesaro Sheamus and Cesaro is preferable but it seems they will do them like they did The Club just recently.

WWE forcing the record on them has just made me resent them.

The moment they break the record get the belts off them.

Yeah, they're getting the record. You don't go this close to a record that long and that old and not stick it through.

What, is Vince pissed about Demolition joining the concussion lawsuit? I just don't want that bridge to be burned too badly so Demolition will never get a HOF induction.

I think The New Day will drop the belts sooner rather than later. They look very sweaty and that makes it easy to lose your gripping on the belts.

I think they're going to double turn with Cesaro and Sheamus. The way they acted after the match was the way heels would act after retaining their titles via DQ.

For those keeping track this is two years in a row WWE's sacrificed a division's momentum entirely to beat a record no one really cares all that much about entirely out of spite.

I think they're going to double turn with Cesaro and Sheamus. The way they acted after the match was the way heels would act after retaining their titles via DQ. Which is funny given the last time they turned heel was also a double turn scenario with a team with Cesaro in it. (Although this time it would be a 1.5 turn with Cesaro already a babyface)

What's the record? Would they have broken it by now if they didn't drop the belts to PTP last year?

What's the record? Would they have broken it by now if they didn't drop the belts to PTP last year? The all-time company record is 478 by Demolition. Adding the 49 days of The New Day's previous reign and the 70 of The Prime Time Players to the currently existing total of 435... Yes, they would have broken it just before SummerSlam this year.
