I don't especially care for the guy, but I definitely mourn for him. May she rest in peace

Russo may be a scumbag, but I still hope that he can find peace in his mind in this sad time.

Vince has been going through a rough patch as of late. He had to put his beloved cat and dog down in a week's time, his son was getting married while his mom, who was suffering with dementia was placed in a home and his dad going back and forth to take care of her. To top it off, the Rocky Mountain Pro show was pulled at the last minute because the parent network that owns the Hunt Tv channel felt wrestling was too "violent"... to be on a hunting channel.... and add the struggle of depression that came with his wcw concussion.

Hope the guy finds peace, times have been tough for him.
He made money in wwe and wcw but lost it by opening a record store, then he lost his TNA money.

Losing a parent is never the easiest thing. Hopefully he finds closure with her passing over time

Wish this was a swerve, man. I wish.
Shudders to think what Jim Cornette has to say about it.

Never underestimate the crassness of those in the wrestling business. I know of one indy wrestler who was one of the Bill DeMott accusers, and every time someone died in wrestling he'd crow about how it should have been Bill instead.

He's done some questionable stuff, but I hope he can find peace. Losing a parent is not an easy thing, at any age.

Corny said on his podcast that he only wishes harm on Russo, not his family. He's an asshole, but he's a focused one.

SWERVE!! This post is not actually a swerve, it turns out to be a sincere condolence to him for his loss. I really don't think Corny is a sociopath. Never underestimate the crassness of those in the wrestling business. I know of one indy wrestler who was one of the Bill DeMott accusers, and every time someone died in wrestling he'd crow about how it should have been Bill instead. To be fair, every time a wrestler died from 2005-2012 or so, many someones here said "And yet Jake Roberts lives." ......to be fairer, Jake Roberts himself said that commonly too.

It's irking me that they have yet to try a do-over on Jake as far as a DVD collection goes the way they did the Warrior,, "Pick Your Poison" is incredibly tough to sit through.

That's a shame. As a regular listener of The Brand, I know Vince had had a rough couple of months. Hopefully he'll be alright.

I took that more of shock that he was still around after all that's happened. My example is just being petty and mean (well, said person is both, so....)

I saw some use that exclamation in plain astonishment, and others in snarky angst. 50/50, really. Thank goodness he seems to have killed those demons and is doing stuff like wowing people online with Chicago Cubs promos.
