Since a lot of us are baseball fans, and the home run is one of the sport's most exciting moments, I thought it might be fun to have some sort of list of as many teams' definitive lines as we can. It can be your own home team or maybe one from a national broadcast. If you're a fan of minor league baseball, you are also welcome to play along, as I am interested in those. That is the next generation of broadcasters.
(Side note: I'm looking for your "normal" HR announcement. No special World Series or playoff ones.)
I'll start with ones I follow. (I'll be nice and let the Cubs fans do their own team, even though I do listen to the radio guys often.)
Bob Uecker, Brewers radio. "Get up, get up, get outta here, GONE!"
Ken Harrelson, White Sox TV. Home team call: "That one is going back. _____ looks up! YOU CAN PUT IT ON THE BOARD! YES!" Opponent call: "That one is hit hard. _____ looks up. And you can put it on the board." (Sounds like somebody stole his lunch. Disappointed.)
Ed Farmer, White Sox radio. Ed basically describes the blast, gives the score, then ends a White Sox HR with "TURN ON THE FIREWORKS!" or "LIGHT 'EM UP!"
Your turn.

I love Greg Brown and my Buccos with, "Clear the deck! Cannonball coming!"
I worked the Pirates press dining room this season. Met a lot of really cool and nice people. Including Uecker, Ebersole, Charlie Steiner, Jessica Mendoza, Dallas Braden, Buster Olney, etc.
Dream job.

"It's deep and I don't think it's playable" by Keith Olbermann
I'm trying to think if any of the Red Sox broadcasters had a home run call over the years. None come to mind. The closest was Ned Martin's "Mercy" but that was a general response to something big happening in the game.

I don't mind Michael Kay's "See Ya!" call. Its a hell of a lot better than anything John Sterling has ever said.
