I'll accept Hogan back when he truly apologises and means it, rather than his victim-playing (Obama gets to say it!) and constant story-changing (I never ever said that word vs I said it all the time as a greeting in my youth). People who grew up in Hogan's hometown at the same time he did called BS on that too. What really got me about his 'apology' tour was he basically said he forgave himself for it and expects others to do so too, then immediately signed on to shill an online gambling site, no working to rebuild his image, no heartfelt apology, just blaming his background then business as usual.

The real question is this: What does Hogan offer? TNA should have asked this question in 2009 or so, but at this point Hogan brings nothing to the table. So what if he shows up at WM? What will he do? Bury some younger wrestler? If there is some actual angle planned for Hogan to manage someone or do something, this might be okay. But if it's just one more round of the nostalgia tour, a pointless promo, or whatever then count me out.

Hogan doesn't bring much to the table, he has said some terrible things in the past, and I would still be a LITTLE more excited if he was gonna appear at Wrestlemania.
That's just the truth.

Why should they? He hasn't shown that he's learned anything from this ordeal.

Other than a backstage Legends segment, and/or maybe a short hype promo, Hogan wouldn't mean squat today.

And needless to say any segment he's in, regardless the wrestlers involved or the angles involved, I'll just not watch. Just that simple. Real shit. f*** Hogan.

Yeah, that's what always gets me with these apologies for what are disgusting things. These stars apologized, then don't do anything to try and rebuild his image or bring awareness to an issue or do anything else. It happened with Chris Brown, too. Dude apologized and then bitched at anyone who can hear that the album that came out right afterward was bombing because of it. I mean, if there was a way of just signing Hogan to a deal to at least acknowledge his history and have them use his image in stuff, I'd be better with it but modern Hogan needs a tonne more rehab.

Even without his racist garbage, Hogan is useless for anything beyond a nostalgia pop. Then again, WWE loves its nostalgia pops as it distracts away from building up new talent!

As long as they put him back in the Hall of Fame and restore him to the champions list and other historical pieces, I'm good.

If WWE wants him do some interviews for the Network or some DVDs, I'm okay with that.
If he gets to be in the video games again, cool.
Outside of that, I don't really have a lot of use for Hulk Hogan. Yes, he's is an integral and important part of pro wresting history. You'd be a fool to deny that. But wrestling is an evolving business and in 2016, I'm fairly certain that it's evolved beyond Hulkamania.

But they didn't remove him in the first place, they just stopped using him for shows and merchandise and to promote the network. While some stuff was pulled for a few months while they tried to work out what to do next, there was no jarring deletion from history like we saw in the 90s, overall they just stopped mentioning him and used other legends.

Actually, they did remove him from the gallery of WWE Champions, all five of his reigns, so that at one point, the slideshow goes from Yokozuna to Yokozuna. And his HOF bio goes to essentially a 404 error. I haven't seen if these have been restored, though.

At this point, even if the sex tape had never been released, I have a hard time seeing what he has left to offer.
Like, I could kind of understand if they just quietly slipped him a legends deal (just to own his merchandise rights) with the proviso that he never appear on a live WWE camera again; but I have to think there's hardly anybody clamoring to see him back in a WWE ring, sticking his nose into the product.

That's a gallery, look at the Championship histories, he's always been listed on that and that wont be changed. You can't erase history. Anyway I'm always for offering forgiveness if someone deserves it but this is Hogan. We all know his history for politicking and doing what's best for Hogan. He hasn't done near enough for me to believe he is really sorry for his actions. I don't want to see him at Wrestlemania or any other show.

And I'm going to be blunt, I don't give a damn about anyone having a pic of them wearing Hogan gear while they sat on their dad's lap. I don't care how people feel about Hogan, it's my opinion. Another thing, people keep saying "we knew this would happen" and "people would eat it up" and all this stuff like we didn't know that. Like it's an accurate excuse to bring Hogan back into the fold. f*** that shit. I'm just not going to see anything Hogan related by any means. It's my right. Same thing with people trying to make excuses for him as if we're bad people for not wanting to watch Hogan. Nah, that's an apologist. If people got a problem with that then feel that way. Like Goku said, "Keep it bottled up inside you. Silently."

Unless he's coming back for a Yapapi Indian Strap Match, then I'm not interested.
