as long as he's coming out of retirement to face his greatest nemesis, "The Genius" Lanny Poffo. seriously, Lanny said that he was Hogan's greatest nemesis on Colt Cabana's podcast. like what? They had one match! He won that match though, I'm sure Hogan wants that win back, he's that insecure.

Again, dude is 63 years old and overexposed as all hell.
Even if he'd never said anything offensive, there's nothing left he could possibly contribute in the ring.
I won't be pissed if WWE snatches up his merch rights just because they can, but (even discounting his offensive words) I definitely don't want him showing up and wasting valuable time on the weekly shows that other people need more.

Well this is the same f***ing company that keeps Michael Hayes employed and whose chairman thought it was ok to use the n word in a promo and who thinks that all of his African American talent look the same so he doesn't bother remembering his names.
Remember when Bill Watts appeared in a legends round table celebrating black history month? Good times....

I just want him to be in WWE's good graces so they don't have to act like Hogan wasn't the biggest star in the company's history anymore. Wrestling is weird like that. Like that time during the Attitude era when all of their biggest stars from the 80s were in WCW, so WWE had to pretend the biggest stars they ever had were Andre, Jimmy Snuka, Fred Blassie, and Ernie Ladd. It'd be kind of like if Disney dropped Mickey Mouse and started promoting that their biggest star had always been Goofy. This x 1000. He was THE star of wrestling's biggest boom (did Stone Cold or the Rock ever draw 33 million TV viewers in one night to watch them wrestle? Didn't think so). He was one of the top 3 stars of wrestling's last boom. Maybe he wouldn't move the needle in terms of viewership today, but it's stupid for WWE to pretend he didn't exist. Especially since Vince would not have his sports entertainment empire with Hulk Hogan.

Apples and oranges, the television landscape had changed dramatically by the time Austin and Rock had rolled around, if Hogan's peak had occurred in that time period he wouldn't have drawn that either.
