I totally forgot about this fight, I haven't watched mma in months.
I'm the biggest McGregor hater around this parts, but I gotta pick him. I think he knocks out Eddie in the fourth round. That f***ing precision and reach.
Regarding the semi main event, Woodley wins it if he wrestles Thompson, if he's dumb enough to stand up with him he'll get knocked out. I hope Thompson loses, I don't know I get this Mighty Mouse Johnson vibe out of him, like he'll only main event free cards on tv

So jacked for this card, will be doing my usual PPV party that night. This is easily the most stacked card they've ever done, I plan on watching every prelim

If Conor loses, does he go back to defending his... okay, I can't type that without cracking up. I know what Dana has said, but Dana says a lot of shit he backs down from.

I'll say it...outside of the RDA fight Alvarez has looked like shit in his wins. They are shit looking wins against top guys though. I think his best bet is 25 minutes of wall screwing. If McGregor's not ready for that it'll be a tough night. What was it about Wonderboy's last 3 opponents? If they wrestle him they will win? How did that work out? Johanna Jerkyzqjenbd Vs Karolina Kowqm%zsm#&*sc;acknascls lkacln! should be good I'm most looking forward to Weidman vs Romero to see who the next Middleweight champ will be. NOW NO ONE ELSE TALK ABOUT THIS CARD OR YOU WILL CURSE IT!!!

If I didn't need the money for my future rent, I would buy this, easily.
As much as I love McGregor, if he lost and had to go back to Featherweight for good I would not be surprised. Nonetheless, I will still pick him to win. UD.
Also Thompson, Joanna, Weidman, and Cowboy. I have to pick Cowboy or my mom will be upset.

Long term, I don't know if all fluctuating weight cuts McGregor has done this year, fighting in almost three weight classes, I don't know if it'll affect his body in the long term. He's a great fighter, but I get this feeling that SBG isn't the place for him, I get the impression that his coach is just a yes man, and apart from Conor all of SBG sucks

Compare that to the BLOWOUT Nate Marquardt laid on Tyron Woodley about the same time. Thompson has tightened up his wrestling D since then. Woodley is still very hitable.

ESPN can't tell the difference between Eddie Alvarez and Rafael Dos Anjos apparently

Also, looks like we just got some unfortunate news in that Rashad Evans vs Tim Kennedy is off the card due to an undisclosed medical issue with Rashad the NYAC wasn't going to let him fight with. Sucks because I really wanted to see him at middleweight after the fairly rough go he's had of it these past couple years.

Casual MMA follower at best here, but looking forward to this. I think McGregor/Diaz II turned me into a Conor fan.

Woodley has the reputation of slowing down in later rounds due to how muscular he is and has gotten upset at Joe Rogan for pointing it out in commentary.
