Anyone else a fan of this show? It's consistently funny and you learn something new every episode. When Stephen Fry stepped down as host after 13 years I thought it might be time for the show to call it a day (although part of me wanted them to do 26 series to cover every letter of the alphabet) but I thought Sandi Toksvig was on paper a good choice for replacement. Three episodes into her tenure and I think she's doing a good job. She's not trying to do an impression of Fry but she's balancing the comedy and hosting duties really well.

I enjoyed ones from Fry's tenure, I haven't checked out the new one yet. Good if she's not trying to ape Fry, I think that'd be a failing proposition from day one.

I haven't seen any with the new host but it's a pretty fantastic series.

I've not seen any of the new ones, but I used to watch it all the time with Fry. Be entertained and possibly learn something Quite Interesting at the same time, what's not to like?
It's always fun when they add or remove points for answers given in previous series. I also enjoyed Rich Hall on it and his arguments about the number of moons.

I'm not a massive fan of Toksvig, but it's still good. Fry was amazing in the role though!

My favourite ever scene in QI has to be the episode where they talk about driving licences, the part with Alan talking about Karl Benz gets me in stitches every time.

My favourite episode is the one Emma Thompson was on. Telling stories about how when she was going out with Hugh Laurie and used to flash Stephen Fry whenever possible.
The same episode also had the luvvie alarm.
She also told a great story another how her computer crashed whilst writing the screenplay for Sense and Sensibility (which she won an Oscar for) and she hadn't saved it, so she took it round to Stephen in the middle of the night and he managed to salvage it and rescue her months of writing.

this is a show I'm surprised I lost interest in - it's possible like a few British panel shows you can get bored of the same people showing up again and again (I know a lot of people like him but I've never been a fan of Ross Noble)

I've always loved it. I like her a lot but was unsure of Sandi Toksvig when I heard she was taking over. I watched the first couple of her episodes and think she is actually fantastic.
My favourite little bit of the show was, I think it was a Christmas episode? When Alan and Stephen swapped places.

I've only seen one episode of Sandi's, but I think she cuts a good profile as host.

Love QI
It's one of those shows you can watch anytime. Oh and the answer is: The Blue Whale!
