According to 9News Denver's Mike Klis, the Broncos are expected to "at least discuss" pursuing Tony Romo if the Cowboys release him.

The Dallas Morning News expects the Cowboys to release Tony Romo "likely within the next two weeks." If the Cowboys let that leak out, then they're idiots. Now every team that's desperate for a signal caller and might have had their eyes on Romo will simply wait for Dallas to release him versus inquiring about a trade. Sure, the Cowboys probably wouldn't have gotten more than a mid-round draft pick for Romo, but that's more than they'll get by simply cutting him loose.

Steelers signed WR Antonio Brown to a four-year, $68 million extension through 2021.
Chiefs CEO Clark Hunt said Alex Smith will "be our starter going into 2017."

Truth be told, everyone knew that was how it would go down. The only way someone would trade for Romo is if Dallas renegotiated his contract to suit the needs of his new team, which Romo isn't about to do. If this was Romo's first injury that would be one thing, but he is made of paper mache now. There's no way you trade for someone like that with his massive contract. Even the Browns and 49ers would know better than to do that (I think).

Sam is a lot like Tony, good talent - good guy but made of glass. Sam went out there, got the crap beat out of him, had a career year and was healthy. Somebody is going to see the very recent turn around for Sam and gamble a dumptruck of cash on Tony. And I wouldn't be shocked if it worked. I also wouldn't be shocked if he's on IR by week 5. But that's the gamble.

Jamal Charles has been released from the Chiefs.
AP and Charles are two premium running backs starting to enter downside of their careers. If both can stay healthy they will bring value to whoever signs them

I think they have a chance at Jamal. He would be cheaper but idk if they want deal with another injury prone RB. I see AP either with Giants or even Cowboys as Jerry Jones been trying get him for years

Profootballtalk reports that the Redskins will have to be "blown away" to trade franchise player Kirk Cousins, and are seeking a haul similar to the one they surrendered for the No. 2 pick in 2012.

So Polian says that TO and Moss should not be in the HOF His reasoning was because of character if I understood correctly? Or something about them not making their teams better. Sounded like a lot of old man yelling at the clouds

Sounded like a lot of old man yelling at the clouds *cough*marvinharrison*cough* Anyways, they are #2 and #3 behind Jerry Rice. T.O. was fantastic and would have been Super Bowl MVP if the Eagles beat the Pats. Moss is just a freak, and was a beast as soon as he stepped foot on the field in Minnesota. And Randy at 50% is better than a lot of guys at 100%. Shut up, Polian.

Yea I was going to say Marvin Harrison got in trouble so if he was saying they didn't deserve to be in then he needs get off his horse. Facts are Chris Carter and Marvin Harrison are in the HOF and while they were great, TO and Moss were on a different level. You start with Jerry Rice and they aren't far behind

He wasn't the same player he was during his first Jets stint. Honestly the Jets are doing the right thing.
