Who did you think was legit going to end it?
I thought they were going to pull the trigger on Orton during his "Legend Killer" run.

Orton would've made sense.
Shawn at WM26 was the only other time they could've done it.
And while in the back of my mind I didn't think they'd do it, I wouldn't have put it past them to have Triple H do it at WM27 or 28.
The only person who never had a chance at it who would've also been okay? Cena

I honestly never thought it would end. This. I figured he would go 25-0 and call it quits. Funnily enough, if Brock hadn't ended the streak then WrestleMania 33 in just a few months would've been 25-0.

Taker's entrance at WM 30 gave it away for me that he was losing.
I was still pretty surprised at the 3 count though.

Arn almost gave it to Flair with that amazing spinebuster.
I don't actually think Flair had a chance of winning, but I wanted to show some love for that sweet sweet spinebuster.

How did his entrance give it away? All the caskets of everyone he beat being on the ramp. I... I guess I don't see how that gives it away? If he would have won we could have claimed the entrance gave away the ending due to foreshadowing. Since it gives away both outcomes, it gives away nothing at all. Sometimes entertainment doesn't have a deeper meaning. It's just supposed to look awesome.

Orton in WM25 would have made the most sense.

No one. Ending it would have been the end of that person's career. It is one of those things that a person could never live up to and never be booked well enough for it to matter long term.

I was at the point to where I didn't think it would end unless it was Undertaker's final match.
I'm still at that point, but it's just meaningless at this point.

I honestly never thought it would end. Same here. It was something special that cannot be recreated. I do not agree with 'time honoured' tradition anymore. The territories are dead. McMahon can snap his fingers and create a new star. No need to go out on your shield anymore. Should never have ended.

Yeah this one is underrated. Batista was still 1A to Cena in 2007. I was thinking there was a very real possibility that he would end the streak that year.

When Taker/HHH/HBK hugged at the top of the ramp and left together in each others arms I honestly thought (and felt it should have been) the last time Taker would compete at Mania for the streak. It would've been a nice 20-0 and felt just right to round it all off in a HIAC match between the two who'd made the match so famous over the years. I figured that he'd of course make an appearance at the big record crowd in Texas when that time came, but that as a competitor at Mania he'd bow out.
So in summary I legit didn't think anyone would.

Surprised d nobody's mentioned Edge. It's the only year it was in doubt for me. Beyond that, I thought he'd retire with it.
