No-one. I figured you'd eventually do Taker-Cena for absolutely white-hot molten heat and attention, still have Taker win in the end, and call it a career.

Arn almost gave it to Flair with that amazing spinebuster. I don't actually think Flair had a chance of winning, but I wanted to show some love for that sweet sweet spinebuster. It appeared as if from nowhere... That match is one of my favorites and I just watched it a few days ago and never thought of this. What would have happened if Flair had connected with that chop?

I worried virtually every time. Should've seen Lesnar winning, there wasn't much of a buildup

As many others said before, I thought it would never end and it should never have ended. In hindsight they pretty much wasted two great opportunities to elevate new stars like Strowman or Corbin. Giving it to Lesnar was a waste and jobbing out Lesnar to an 50 yo hasbeen was a waste. If they had Corbin end the streak this year and Stroman squash Lesnar in 2 minutes they would have created equally crazy moments while investing in future big stars. Wasted opportunities...

Yeah, I really thought he'd retire - at a WrestleMania - with the streak fully intact.

I hoped no one would end it. But if anyone had to, it should have been HBK. It never entered my mind that Brock would be the one. it still bothers me that it was him.

Undertaker's streak can't be taken away from him whether it was beat or not, so I think they might as well have beaten it. I didn't think anyone ever would, but I completely agree with the decision to put it on Brock. People equated that pinfall victory to thinks like Hogan slamming Andre and I think that's a fair comparison. When Brock beat 'Taker that was such a rush, the kind of genuine heartbreak and shock that everyone felt when that happened is something that doesn't happen often as a wrestling fan. I think it speaks volumes about Undertaker that he's so willing to take something that was 20+ years strong and invest it into someone else.

Yeah this one is underrated. Batista was still 1A to Cena in 2007. I was thinking there was a very real possibility that he would end the streak that year. That match was a trillion times better than it had any right to be Taker and Batista had fantastic chemistry, all their matches kicked ass.

All the caskets of everyone he beat being on the ramp. I... I guess I don't see how that gives it away? If he would have won we could have claimed the entrance gave away the ending due to foreshadowing. Since it gives away both outcomes, it gives away nothing at all. Sometimes entertainment doesn't have a deeper meaning. It's just supposed to look awesome. Wasn't really looking for deeper meaning. Just an observation cause it was the 1st time doing it that gave me that impression.

Never ever considered it in a lead up.
IN MATCH however 2 times stand out.
Vs Orton after the cast-shot ( not like THIIIS !!!! ) from Cowboy Bob ( god imagine the heat )
2nd time was when H gave him the Tombstone - I was never a Taker mark but my heart sank at that moment...than he kicked out. H's reaction sent it over the top for me ( My fave ever " moment " in WWF/E history is H clambering away in horror - THAT was the beauty of wretling encapsulated in 1 gesture , not even a " spot " but a reaction

I honestly would have liked the streak never ended due to the fact that, it would have been awesome to have Brock Lensar beaten in the PG era since Lensar is practically unbeatable by all the other WWE Superstars it would have made the streak a lot more badass and a lot more scared in the WWE, so when the Undertaker finally retires he would have had a never ending winning streak at WrestleMania.

Kurt Angle should have ended it. I got tired hearing about that streak 10 years ago.

I was rooting for Flair and Edge to break it, but I saw them as underdogs. With Orton, Batista, HHH at WM27 and Punk, I felt the streak was in serious jeopardy. Especially with Punk and Orton.
Before Brock/UT was announced, I was ready for him to just retire with it unbroken.
In retrospect, I think Lesnar- an easy future hall of famer- winning was a great idea. Meh match, but it was a memorable WrestleMania (and for pro wrestling as a whole, I dare say) moment for both guys. And it was maybe Heyman's finest hour as a manager.
