So is the goal of this to create NXT UK? I know they've really expanded their desire to sign foreign talent so is the idea to keep the guys closer to home until they're ready for the main roster or is the idea to be completely separate from the rest of the WWE in general, makes you wonder..

Love the belt. Looks better than the WWE World Title (ofc I am a bit biased). I kinda like the WWE World Title, and even I think this looks much nicer.

Drew and Magnus have to get signed then I can't see Magnus going for this. His wife will be traveling all over the US for WWe, while he's stuck in England doing this? All with a young child? I don't think so.

Would be cool to let the UK champ a match on Night of the Champions.
I see people complaining about NOT ANOTHER BELT!!! (mostly on facebook). But it isn't yet another belt. It is a title in its own entity, not like it is going to be defended of RAW and Smackdown every week and be hot potato'd between Ziggler and Miz. It will not effect the US WWE Universe in the slightest save for giving some guys so exposure in the USA on special events and UK tours. With possibility of joining main roster if they get enough buzz.

Creating a brand in Europe is a very good idea, the two european tours a year are not enough to satisfy the entire market there. I really hope they do more with this then just a tournament, making the brand truly global is the next stop for the WWE. If this goes right we could maybe see a territory of the WWE in every big country in 30-40years.

And with their own network to put all of that on this would be their way of putting a strangle hold on the wrestling world. It would also be a really easy way to freshen up a stale guy, send a dude like Ziggler who's stale as hell to another countries brand for 6 months.

Finally WWE are making good use of the word 'World' in their name. Not to get political though if they wanted a European brand the UK may not be the best place since Brexit, work visa problems may arise. I suspect within a year we will have WWE Asia, South America and Europe too. Not sure about Australia cause I have no idea if people watch WWE there or if there is a big indy scene.

It's growing, and they're definitely aware of a lot of the talent here, but I don't think it would be sustainable for WWE to run a fed here yet.

They may run it NXT style with the idea of the end goal is the guys ending up on an American brand.

I find it so typically Vince that this is all because of what is only currently confirmed to be a Hogmany special. God knows what will happen if ITV confirm a full series.

Okay, i've now added the names in order, from what I could tell from the grainy pics and google, so I might have got a couple mixed up... seriously, change up your style chaps!

It's difficult to give Vince the benefit of the doubt, though I'm pretty biased in this.

Now where have I seen that crest design before? Or more importantly... the Royal Coat of Arms I'm guessing they're not allowed to copy it directly, hence the lack of crown and having a horse rather than a unicorn.

If this is a hit, I wonder what comes next. WWE has haired a handful of Chinese wrestlers, as well as Indian ones, either of which could allude to whatever comes next, though Mexico or Japan or obviously also possibilities.

I'm from the UK but this doesn't really excite me. A bunch of generic guys on a WWE UK Brand when they treated Paul Burchill like garbage when they had him.
