Dear, well anyone I need to make an appointment for, doctor, dentist, accountant, If I have to make an appointment AND you want me there a half hour early, don’t make my appointment at 1 o’clock. Make it for 12:30 dammit! And don’t be later either!

They all write that instead of just scheduling early, it's like they give themselves a 15-minute buffer zone.

Make it for 12:30 dammit! And don’t be later either! Your appointment with the doctor is at 1:00. Be there a half-hour early so you can do paperwork, etc. Manage your schedule so you can get there early enough to do this every time.

Saturday 23rd February. South East England had amazing sunshine and blue skies.
It’s way earlier than expected, but I’ve had shorts on today and it felt incredible.

So I was unloading my cart at the grocery store earlier when this van's engine exploded two parking lanes behind us. The hood popped up and it was billowing smoke out. I was watching to see if the people inside were ok, or if I needed to call 911, and my mother started yelling at me to hurry up and finish unloading so we could leave before there was a chain reaction and everything else started exploding. Oy.

Won't You Be My Neighbor? was the best movie of 2018, so I'm just going to pretend it wins everything.

Is it normal for someone to have April Fools Day plans this early?

Random thought of the day...
Christopher Guest is guitarist Nigel Tufnel of the band Spinal Tap... had the amp that "goes up to 11".
Christopher Guest also played Count Rugen in "The Princess Bride", aka. the six-fingered man... so his character also went up to 11...
Are there any other 11's in Mr. Guest's career, is this a running gag that we haven't noticed?

The downside to being at a place that's open to the public, is that it's open to the public.
I have a favorite Starbucks, and I usually come in later in the day and get some reading done. But I decide to come in early. A rude blob has pushed all the tables against each other so she has the most room, and is charging two phones at the same time while her backpacks spread out around her. Stay classy.

Can someone even be allowed to do that? Even in a public place? Seems like that type of 'actually changing the layout of a store' should be the sole call of one of the employees. I don't know if I can imagine an employee there giving that much table moving the a-ok.

She's moved it so that you can't move between the tables to sit down. Only at the ends of the seating can you squeeze in. The workers here are all young, and Starbucks is extremely hesitant to confront any customers about anything these days. This particular store is out of the way for me, but I'm a severe creature of habit. Plus it's very law enforcement friendly, so no risk of getting any food or drink spit on.

First my grandmother broke her antivirus so I had to spend a couple hours fixing that, now my mother is determined to fall for this scam call even though I and 95% of Google are telling her not to. UGH.

UGH. The Microsoft Tech Support Scam call? Yeah, if they get a hold of her computer that's bad news for her.

Everything on google said it was a spoofed number aimed for phishing, but still had to convince her not to call it back.

My pinky finger has been bothering me, all day. I asked my boss, if we could close at work, even though it was 10 am. He called me a dork, and said no, lol. Later, it's STILL hurting, and turned red and swollen.

F***'s up with Kit-Kat using the "if you gotta big dick" line from that Missy Elliott song in their commercial? Ew.
