I’m about to hit the shops in search of a suit, shirt and shoes combination. Now, granted it’s for a funeral but, rightly or wrongly, I’m looking forward to trying stuff on and getting new clothes.

I have a big day ahead of me. Once I'm done paying bills and food shopping with my brother, I gotta take a nap before I get an early birthday surprise from my cousin.

Having to stay awake for a little bit longer before calling AXS(and not Ticketmaster).
I went looking through my emails to try and find the PDF of my ticket so I could print it out and have it on me when I go to a house show tonight (SD Live). Turns out they only provide it through a phone app and I don't see any way to get it to a printable format. Going to call them shortly and have them either walk me through it or email me something I can print out and bring to the event. If I do it through my phone I KNOW what's going to happen: the phone reception in the building is awful, and I'll end up holding up the line trying to get my ticket.

That show I'm Sorry came on and I figured I'd give it a shot. Holy f***, Andrea Savage is insufferable. I probably won't be watching a second episode.

Just saw Metallica for the second time in two years in Lubbock. Finally got to hear “Creeping Death” live after they bumped it for “The Memory Remains” in Dallas. They played “Here Comes Revenge” from Hardwired live for the first time ever and Kirk and Robert did a brief medley of “Peggy Sue” by Buddy Holly and “Tush” by ZZ Top. Those old fellas can still put on one hell of a show.
EDIT: Here is the setlist: Hardwired Atlas, Rise! Seek & Destroy Ride the Lightning The Unforgiven Now That We're Dead Creeping Death For Whom the Bell Tolls Here Comes Revenge Anesthesia (Pulling Teeth) Hit the Lights Fuel Moth Into Flame Sad but True One Master of Puppets
Encore: Battery Nothing Else Matters Enter Sandman

My two favorite concerts of all-time. Such great shows!

My cousins took my brother and me to The Book of Mormon as an early/late birthday present. I liked the show, but I wish the seats were bigger. I had a thigh fight with my cousin and my brother.

After watching videos on YouTube, I've got to ask; is brakes on your car optional in Russia?

Norway has chosen this year's Eurovision song to send to the finale in Tel Aviv.
And what a no chance in hell of winning piece of garbage it is. You'd think we'd learned by now.

Going through some totes, and found the picture, from when I met Edge and Orton, among some autographs, that I have framed. It was pretty nice I thought the Edge pic got tossed, or something. Now, it's with my pic with Christian.

Tomorrow could prove to be a fun day at work.
Back on Sunday, a certain assistant manager of mine called me before my shift started at 11 AM that my scheduled shift that day was changed and that I wouldn't need to come in until 1:30 PM. I specifically asked if I would be exempt from being marked late that day, she said I would. (For the record, normally I would officially be marked late if I clocked in at 1:30 for a scheduled 11 AM shift.)
I check today on the official employee website for this store, log in, click the Absences/Lates tab... and I had been marked late for Sunday.
I should mention that this certain assistant manager hates my guts for literally zero reason.
I can most certainly say that she "conveniently forgot" to change things on Sunday, or simply flat out lied to me.
Anyway, tomorrow I'll meet with whoever the head manager is that day. I'll ask for the late point to basically be deleted, and explain why I was ""late"" on Sunday and that I was assured that that assistant manager guaranteed me all this. I won't mention any conspiracy theories... unless I have to.
I could also just flat out quit as a last resort. I don't need this job (since I don't got kids... with Heath Slater) and the place seems to get worse and worse by the day, so I'll walk right out in the event of tomorrow's chat gets... fun.

I just watched a video where a morbidly obese woman said she won't go to the doctor's office because the mean old doctor will tell her that she needs to change her diet and exercise.
Well yeah.. That's kind of his f***ing job and it'd be negligent of him not to -- you're enormous.

My Sister is now a permanent resident of Australia. She went travelling 9 years ago, met someone and stayed out there. Had to come home in 2013 after her boyfriend lost his job and ended up living in Scotland (where her boyfriend is from) for 3 years before they could finally return to Australia.
I’m very happy for her as I know how much she loves Australia and how hard she worked to get back there. As my only sibling of course I’m sad I never get to see her much (Born and still live in England) but I’m glad she’s happy. Going to Australia in November for the 2nd time (Went to Perth for Xmas in 2011) to see her. Will be my first time visiting Sydney (where she lives) so excited for that and looks like my Dad, who is retiring at the end of this month, will be out there to visit as well.
Any recommendations for Sydney would be nice if anyone has any good tips. Also going to Melbourne and Adelaide (Where I will be for my birthday this year).

My birthday weekend is over and I'm slightly bummed. The weather was pretty dang good for March. I got to watch the Third How to Train Your Dragon movie and Captain Marvel at my preferred theater. I also eat at two of me and my family's favorite places to eat. Last year I was trying to ball on the bus and eat bland brunch. 40 feels OK right now.

I'm going to Medieval Times on Wednesday for the 6th Grade field trip. I haven't been there since I was in 5th Grade, which was over 20 years ago.
Feels like yesterday in my mind. Feels like 50 on my body.

I hate the people like the woman you described above, but I love the people who work really hard to lose weight and improve themselves.

I used to watch that show with my ex a lot, and it was so cool to see those that succeeded.
