Time to appreciate the best way to watch NFL Games (other than being live) in the NFL Red Zone Channel. My mom introduced it to me on a plane and I have never looked back.

Every Sunday I have Red Zone on the tv and watch a full game on another screen. It's my favourite 7 hours of the sporting week.
It's great to be able to watch every team play (well except the Browns and 49ers!)

I have mixed feelings. It's good for following fantasy sure, but gets in the way when you want to watch you're team. Like I play Softball on Sunday Mornings for about the first half of the season. We would play than go back to someone's house for football. And it was mainly red zone. Which is fine when The Giants aren't playing, but when they are, I'm pissed. I get fantasy, but I'd rather watch my team. So it's probably good but only on your own time and terms.

7 HOURS OF COMMERCIAL FREE FOOTBALL!
No longer at the mercy of checking bye weeks and whom the Packers/Bears play (I'm from Wisconsin).
Under old circumstances, I would have been stuck watching Patriots/Broncos and having to check Twitter/NFL.com for updates on the Saints/Cardinals and Raiders/Chargers games.
No longer am I stuck to one late game and hoping for bonus coverage.

If you're a fan of the local team I can see that but for those of us who don't live in the local market it is a godsend each Sunday.

I cant believe how good we have it now though that we get a minimum of 5 live games per week along with Red Zone getting broadcast every week. I never dreamt that I'd ever get to see every touchdown happen live in front of my eyes!

It made me understand how boring watching a regular game start to finish can be.
Not to mention all the goddamn commercial breaks.

I do love a bit of Red Zone. Every week I watch the Jets game in full regardless of when it's played (for my sins in a previous life I can only assume) and then watch Red Zone for the other Sunday timeslot (or both if the Jets don't play on any given Sunday). It's a great way to spend a Sunday evening.
