Basically what's your satisfaction level of the teams you root for?
Vikings: Hurt and suck. Makes me want to drink Devils: Sucking more then they should. Makes me want to drink Mets: Hurt all hurt and Terry Collins being the manager makes me want to drink.
So not good unlike when I asked this basic question last year

Here is the current situation of my 6 teams (Football, NFL, Cricket, Rugby League, MLB, NBA) Middlesbrough FC - Comfortably adapting to life in the Premier League after gaining promotion Miami Dolphins - Postseason bound, doing better than I dared to imagine Yorkshire County Cricket Club - Just missed out on winning their 3rd consecutive Championship on the final day of the season Castleford Tigers - Improving the squad all the time, look likely to challenge for some titles this coming season. Toronto Blue Jays - Had another postseason run Toronto Raptors - Looking good again for the postseason. Overall situation - Delighted

Giants - Great team, great stadium, they spend money to build a winner. 3 World Series' in 7 seasons. There isn't anything to be disappointed with. If I HAD to nitpick it would be the team's inability to acquire or develop a legit power hitter. That's the one piece that keeps them from being a perennially great team year in and year out.
Kings - Slightly optimistic. DeMarcus remains DeMarcus (both on and off the court) and he has a coach that he has a positive relationship with. Step 1 is only .500. That's all I'm asking for, and I think it can be approached this year. Baby steps after a decade of incompetence.
49ers - lol

Cubs: Gave me my finest moment, as a sport's fan, and won the World Series. Should be primed to compete for the next decade.
Bears: They suck. Lot of smoke that John Fox will be fired. But there's small glimmers of hope with some of the young players.
Notre Dame (football: Had a disastrous season. If things don't turnaround they may have a new coach in 2018.
University of Memphis (football & basketball): The football team had a very nice 8-4 season, and appear to have another up and coming coach in Mike Norvell. Hopefully he sticks around for awhile. The basketball team is just beginning to dig out of t the whole Josh Pastner put them in. Though they do have one of the best players in all of CBB, Dedric Lawson.
Grizzlies: Have gotten out from to a nice start, despite injuries. If things go right, could possibly get home court in first round of playoffs.

Liverpool : Loving the style of football we're playing and the attitude of our Manager, who even a lot of Liverpool haters have a bit of a soft spot for. Will be happy to qualify to the Champions League next year and maybe win the cup. I want money spent on a quality Keeper and our defence to actually start defending.
Phoenix Suns : Oh dear. Oh dear, oh dear. Oh dear, oh dear, oh dear. Tired of the non-stop rebuilding. Spend some money and bring some big players in and don't let the rookies become good only to let them go elsewhere by trading them for mediocrity.
Wigan Warriors : Can't complain really. Won the Super League this year.
Bath Rugby : Disappointing end to the last season. Not a bad start at all the new season. Not sure it'll last that long but I'll enjoy it while it lasts. Although when you've been spoilt in the past by success, it's hard to expect any sympathy.

Michigan Wolverines - Love the progress made and have high hopes for the future. Still pissed about the phantom first down though.
Denver Broncos - Super Bowl win so cannot be more pleased. Do want to see so.e improvement from the offense soon though.

Saints - Happily upper mid-table, not happy about losing our best players every year. Best academy in the country. Maybe Europe but I don't know the current state of the one that Ajax runs - heard they don't have so many Dutch youngsters in it any more.

Let's see here. This might take a while.
Dallas Cowboys - Doing pretty good, thanks to a couple of rookies. Looking to go to the playoffs, try and get a first round bye. Nebraska Cornhuskers - Better than last year, but they definitely s*** the bed a couple weeks late in the season. Carolina Panthers - Dazed and confused. What the hell happened to this team? Atlanta Braves - Absolute suck right now. Makes me want to drink. Chicago Cubs - So happy for them. Finally done with all this "Wait until next year," "Billy Goat Curse," "Since 1908", etc. Sioux Falls Storm - Greatest Indoor Football Team Ever. Chicago Blackhawks - Playing some decent hockey right now. Chicago Bulls - I think they actually look better now that they got rid of Gasol, Rose, and Noah. Sioux Falls Stampede - Kinda up and down right now. Sioux Falls Canaries - Frustrating. Sioux Falls Skyforce - Reigning D-League Champions. And looking to pick up where they left off.

NY Jets: Another rebuild is on the way. Maybe this time it will work? Please?
NY Yankees: 2019 just gotta wait till 2019 nab Harper and Manny, hope Sanchez, Bird, Judge and the other prospects bloom into all stars, so the next great Yankee dynasty can begin.
NY Knicks: Hey Kristaps looks to be the next great Knicks player who they can build around. Please don't let Nolan ruin it.
NY Rangers: Doing well this year but I think their window for a Stanley cup closed a few seasons ago.

NY Giants: 10-4 and with a win over the despised Philadelphia Eagles, they'll be in the playoffs. I swore on the mountaintop that this is where the team would be last year if they had one scintilla of defense. Things are starting to look up for the franchise, particularly if Apple, Collins, and Kennard continue to contribute on that defense.
NY Yankees: A rebuild at last! Looking forward to seeing the old saps get shown the door in favor of young, homegrown talent. Sure they won't contend for the World Series this year with Boston being the prohibitive favorite, nevermind the AL East, but anything can happen.
NY Knicks: Both Phil Jackson and Carmelo should fall on their swords, gracefully bow out and let 'Taps take over as the superstar player at the Garden.
NY Islanders: It must be all that Brooklyn stink polluting the makeup of this team. They go from the 4th seed last year to being worse than the Devils. There's no humanly possible way that you can be worse than the Devils, yet here they are.

Chicago White Sox: I'm liking the overhaul. Keep Quintana this year, you got him locked up for 4. No rush. Satisfied. Green Bay Packers: Eh, they're not going far without a running back that stays healthy. Status quo. Valparaiso University Crusaders basketball. Still good. Dropped a couple against ranked teams. Losing Bryce disappointed me, but he needs to branch out beyond "local hero". Happy.
The rest...too soon to tell.

Baltimore Orioles - Feeling better about the O's since they have been to the playoffs 3 of the last 5 years but last year ended in disappointment. After leading the AL East for most of the year came apart at the end of the season and grabbed a wild card.
Pittsburgh Steelers - Still some players left over from their last Super Bowl championship but right now is a team that just gets in the playoffs and lose.
North Carolina Basketball - The Tar Heels haven't been the same since Dean Smith left. I know Roy Williams has as many championships as Dean (and came very close to a third last year) but the Heels were more consistant under Dean and you always felt the Heels could win any game no matter how far they were behind. With Roy they win a championship then get knocked out of the second round the next two years and when the Heels are trailing you don't feel as confident they will come back and win with Roy.

Santa Clara San Francisco 49ers: at least we're not the Browns? (sidenote: guess who the last team the Browns beat? Yeah, that statement doesn't look good now...)
Serious answer, they suck. Coaching is the worst in the league (FIRE CHIP KELLY) and has completely admitted to giving up and going conservative. Can we just go 1-15 and get it over with?

Chicago Cubs: Chicago Bears: Man, great thing basketball has started. Chicago Bulls: Man, great thing hockey has started. Chicago Blackhawks: Thank God. Indiana Basketball: Cautiously optimistic. Indiana Football: Pessimistically optimistic. Notre Dame Basketball: We're a basketball school now. Notre Dame Football:

St. Louis Cardinals: Disappointing season but have high hopes that next year will be a much better year. St. Louis Blues: Being a part Season ticket holder, been a lot of fun attending games. Team having ups and downs but shown promise at times. Mizzus sports: Yeah they are not good anymore. It will be a little while as they rebuilding everything.
Yeah this is all I follow closely. After what happened with the Rams and the NFL lies, I can't support them as long the owner is Stan. Then again since the Greatest show of turf days which I remember and really the only thing I want to remember from this team, there hasn't been much to be excited about and LA is seeing that now. I have been trying to get on board with another NFL team, but thats become just watching for players I do like.
I feel if and when MLS comes to St. Louis I'll be adding them to the list. I know I sound like a bandwagon guy and maybe I am but it's a lot easier to like a sport when you have a local connection.

Detroit Red Wings: This is what it's like losing and (possibly) not making the playoffs.
Los Angeles Lakers: There's still some progress.
Oakland Raiders: FINALLY A WINNING SEASON!!!

From current best to worst:
Golden State Warriors: Great time to be a fan. Last year's Finals loss stung after setting the regular season record, but we're back on track, especially after adding Kevin Durant.
San Jose Sharks: Yes, they also lost in the Finals, but they exceeded expectations by making it that far. Most of the team is still intact, Martin Jones has been a stud in goal, and hopefully we've bucked the trend of early playoff exits.
Oakland A's: The last few years were rough, but there's a ray of hope now that Lew Wolff is out as owner. The new team president, Dave Kaval, holds weekly office hours to take suggestions from fans on the product, including for a new ballpark (and this is his priority; he was the guy who got the Earthquakes Avaya Stadium).
San Francisco 49ers: Well, at least I'm not a Browns fan. Hopefully they take a page from the A's and boot Jed York from football operations (and arguably more importantly, Trent Baalke as GM should be a distant memory).

Packers: Great team, doing pretty good a few injuries a horrible coach and GM.
Brewers: I'm very exciting about this pieces in place for the rebuilding project. I like the coach and GM. This team could be dangerous.....in 3 or 4 years.
