WWE erases Hulk Hogan from the Hall of Fame for using a racial slur.
Less than a year later, they induct Michael Hayes into the Hall of Fame who has driven off African-American wrestlers from the company using that same slur.

Michael Cole condemning any heel to hell who cheated during a match, only to piss himself with laughter when Eddie Guerrero did it.

New Generation - the top stars are a couple of tag team wrestlers who have been in the company longer than most of the roster but are still "New".

Is this the right thread to point out how much we love to make fun of people's looks (Owens's weight, Banks's hair, Kevin Dunn in general), yet whenever WWE themselves do it on TV we get mad about it? (Like, I asked this once before and literally got the answer of "WE'RE ALLOWED TO BECAUSE WE'RE JUST FANS, THEY'RE NOT") does using Scott steiner he is fat , count?

Constantly belittles/has belittled every other major competing US wrestling promotion as being amateurish and not on their level.
Signs/has signed all of their major people.

Encouraged talent (Especially Hogan, who was involved in a main event program) to jump from the AWA with little to no notice, but gets upset with Lex Luger when he jumps to WCW with no notice.
Called TNA's program tawdry in 2010 when his product was beyond tawdry since the late 90's, and it wasn't cleaned up until his wife had political aspirations in 2009.

On the Rise and Fall of WCW, Jim Ross says WCW was dumb having Jay Leno wrestle. WWE then has Snooki wrestle at Wrestlemania. Snooki wasn't involved in the MAIN EVENT during the height of a ratings war

"When WCW made fun of JR, it was just not funny" - Rise and Fall of WCW DVD. Please note other instances! Ed Ferrara first appeared as Oklahoma on WWE programming with Vince's blessing. Bret Hart was a bad person because he might have gone to WCW with the WWF title, ignoring the fact he and WCW would both be sued into oblivion. Ric Flair takes the WCW world title and parades it around on WWF TV and he's the greatest of all time whose character is beyond reproach.

Honestly, every single criticism they ever made of WCW.
They've now come to do all of their criticisms and more when it comes to "LOL WCW" and it's kind of proof that TNT not wanting "wrasslin" killed WCW, not WCW's booking.
Their rewriting history to make WCW into a one-note joke promotion is laughable when you see just how many of WCW's mistakes they replicate on a regular basis.

Feminist icon Chyna defeats Jeff Jarrett in a symbol of the WWE's progressive attitudes towards women.
Jerry Lawler squeals on about Puppies for the rest of the show.

When Vince plays victim and says how WCW tried to hurt them and put them out of business and how ruthless and cutthroat they were yet Vince did the same things to other promotions and territories and worse

Only thing is, TMZ and other media outlets didn't report Hayes' instance, so..... Same with Snuka vs. Benoit. The latter was a media shitstorm, whereas when Snuka did what he did, you didn't have the Internet and etc. following celebrities' every move.

When Vince plays victim and says how WCW tried to hurt them and put them out of business and how ruthless and cutthroat they were yet Vince did the same things to other promotions and territories and worse May be true, but I am learning from Scott Keith's WON recaps that the territories screwed themselves in many ways. Not WWE, but certain people who are fans/involved in the business complaining about that today are hypocrites. Because monopolizing is still happening today and in the same way, on a local level. I've seen a certain indy party I've been very vocal about bring up people's dirty laundry to run them out of business, and picking opportunities like Vince did to move in on other companies.

Absolutely, the majority of the promoters weren't actually mad that Vince went national. It's that Vince beat them to it, because if he didn't they would have.

This was exactly what they were worried about, and Bischoff would absolutely try to pull some shit like that. Bret probably wouldn't agree to it but doesn't mean Bischoff wouldn't try.
