Even Otunga was getting snarky with AJ, to the point I thought Styles was gonna drop him. weirdest part for me was otunga gloating over how AJ (the heel) getting nervous over how he might have to face Corbin (also a heel) instead of ziggler (the face). usually the face announcer is backing the face's bid for the title shot with only an occasional "hey you might fight the heel" comment which usually gets tossed aside with something about what a great match facing the heel would be by the champ. edit- also, I may be wrong but after nattie went on her verbal tearing apart of nikki- did nikki actually say "say it to my face" right before they cut away from the segment- as, you know, she was facing nattie who was looking right at her the whole time she was talking to her? reminded me of brie/aj lee during the diva-pipebomb |
