True, but at least the announcers had an explanation for that (in CHIKARA, if it's clear one of the competitors isn't trying to win the match, and is just actively trying to hurt their opponent, it's at the referee's discretion whether to let the match continue or to disqualify the wrestler).

It's like the whole "illegal tag team partners can only break a pin once" rule; the refs can enforce it, but without acknowledging that it's a rule every once in a while, no one's gonna know that it actually is a rule, and you'll just confuse the audience.
