Why are they putting someone with no passion in the Hall?

I mean I guess.
Not too jazzed about this induction, but good for her.

She seems like a nice person, but come on. I know this HoF thing isn't exactly 'legit' anyway, but what did she do that was Hall of Fame worthy?

Just off the top of my head she was the 2nd or 3rd female in the Rumble and has an elimination, multi-time champion, and part of one of the more memorable midcard acts of the last decade with Santino.

Beth is probably deserving one day but just seems silly to induct her now when there's a laundry list of females who also deserve it but came before her.
I kinda get not wanting induct a deceased woman like Elizabeth, Luna Vachon or Chyna but why Beth before Jazz, Victoria, Ivory or Molly Holly?
And if Beth is this year, we might as well induct Michelle McCool next year and Kelly Kelly the year after.

I really don't think Beth should be in, since even when she was on top of the division she never really actually felt important, but whatever, I'm not really that fussed about it.
Really biggest objection is just that if Christian does still get in - which is looking more and more unlikely it seems like - then one or the other would need to be inducted by Edge and both probably should be.

Eh, the HOF has been pretty firmly established to be a gimmicky kind of thing when it comes to who's inducted on a given year. Not that it's a pointless ceremony or that the inductees don't deserve recognition, but it really has nothing to do with who should or shouldn't be in since it's entirely one guy's call.
That said, always been a fan of Beth Phoenix. Congrats!

Beth was always one of my favorite women wrestlers, but I keep wondering why they pass over Leilani Kai every year.

In my opinion, it's such a travesty that Beth Phoenix is being inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame this early. During her WWE run (2006-2012), women's wrestling in WWE had such a disastrous era. That era of women's wrestling in WWE was so lackluster, dreadful, forgettable, boring and underwhelming. Her WWE career occurred during the wrong era. For those reasons alone, WWE should have delayed her induction for many more years.
Miss Elizabeth, Bertha Faye, Bull Nakano, Chyna, Ivory, Luna Vachon, Molly Holly and Victoria should have definitely all been inducted before Beth Phoenix.
I absolutely hate it that Vincent Kennedy McMahon has the final say when it comes to WWE as to who gets inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame and who doesn't get inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame.
Former 1980's and 1990's WWF superstar Jacques Rougeau wrote on his official Facebook page on February 24, 2017 that he has sent messages to Mr. McMahon on many different occasions about inducting the entire Rougeau wrestling family into the WWE Hall of Fame and that Vince has still refused to even report back to him on all of those occasions.
Sadly, we'll never get to see Jacques & Raymond Rougeau and their 86-year-old father or even two of their uncles get inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame due to Mr. McMahon's unpleasant personality. The Rougeau wrestling family is the most iconic wrestling family from Quebec. Jacques Rougeau is very upset that his family has been and still is being excluded from the WWE Hall of Fame. I believe that the Rougeau wrestling family is every bit as deserving to be in the WWE Hall of Fame as the Von Erich wrestling family is. Jacques Rougeau revealed in that very recent Facebook post that he is going to war with Mr. McMahon.
Mr. McMahon is the sole reason why Davey Boy Smith, Ivan Koloff, Chyna, Vader, Bruiser Brody, The Destroyer, Earthquake, The Midnight Express, The Rougeau wrestling family and numerous other major wrestling legends still aren't in the WWE Hall of Fame.

No problem at all with Beth in the HOF. I dread to think how much worse those years would've been without her and Mickie. Would've loved to have seen her mix it up with the current crop.
