Just off the top of my head she was the 2nd or 3rd female in the Rumble and has an elimination, multi-time champion, and part of one of the more memorable midcard acts of the last decade with Santino. That's.....kinda reinforcing the point. Not exactly a HoF worthy résumé. If that isn't HOF worthy for women in WWE what is? Once you get past Trish and Lita, there isn't much that makes the pre-revolution women stand apart from one another.

I've seen her mentioned a few times and I'm as big a fan of Molly Holly as anyone but what qualifies her for HOF more than Beth?

Beth is probably deserving one day but just seems silly to induct her now when there's a laundry list of females who also deserve it but came before her. I kinda get not wanting induct a deceased woman like Elizabeth, Luna Vachon or Chyna but why Beth before Jazz, Victoria, Ivory or Molly Holly? And if Beth is this year, we might as well induct Michelle McCool next year and Kelly Kelly the year after. Honestly I think McCool's probably more deserving. Not that she should be first ballot either or anything but she always felt like a bigger deal than Beth.

I'm a Molly fan and don't think she'll ever get in.
That said, I'd prefer Ivory over Beth. Ivory could probably go out there, talk for 45 minutes and her career would warrant it. Well, there's that and she's nutty in a fun way. I liked her.

Good induction. Beth was a different presence in a women's division that was slowly (SLOWLY) coming away from the idea that you had to be standardly attractive to be a big part of it.
Her Rumble moment was really memorable (albeit wouldn't have happened if Santino didn't screw up that day), she held the title a few times and the team up with Santino was really fun, even getting themselves a big match on a big PPV.
I can see why she was chosen over others too, some of the ones mentioned have passed away so won't be in for a while longer (I do feel like WWE will induct China now that she's passed on, cruel I'm sure but they don't have to worry about her induction speech and can rebuild the reputation) and the rest didn't have as much impact as Beth did. I love Molly and want to see her get her due, and she will, but outside of that, the list is really minimal.
The only other person is Sable and, for as big a star as she was in the Attitude Era, would you really want her being inducted before someone who, you could argue, helped bring people like Kharma, Nia Jax and Tamina into the company (skill set aside, I'm talking look wise without being a Bertha Faye style joke).

I have no issue with Beth getting in this year. I understand why people would not think it was a good choice for this year, but I don't have any issue with it.

People forget that Beth was the trail blazer for many of today's female performers.
She graduated out of that famous OVW class, and was arguably the first WWE female homegrown talent.
She was trained to wrestle, and not trained to be a model that wrestled.

I have no issue with Beth getting in this year. I understand why people would not think it was a good choice for this year, but I don't have any issue with it. Same. I find the complaints a bit hollow. Most of them compare her induction to Ivory, Molly, and Victoria not getting in. IMO Beth is equally if not more deserving than 2 of those names with Ivory the only one Id consider above her. It's small potatoes. She did A LOT in a short amount of time, whether it was via necessity (cause the division was shit) is besides the point. I'd also argue that she was better in ring than a lot of the other female names that would be considered possibilities. The fact Beth is home grown by WWE matters a great deal as well. It's not a pro sports hall of fame where order of induction matters that much. Stone Cold, HBK, Edge, etc. all went in before Macho Man. With Liz and Chyna not in yet (and there are extenuating circumstances as to why they're not) it doesn't really matter as to the timing. Beth deserves it. It's not like they're inducting Cherry or (shudder) Candice Michelle.

I don't mind Beth going in. Heck, I rarely have problems with any Hall of Fame inductees.
Plus, the bright side for me on this is that this means she's got a damn good chance of being in WWE 2K18...I missed having her and her great theme in.

So, I bet she just ends up with AJ Styles's Belly to Back Facebuster.

I'm all for Beth being in. I do still want Ivory and Molly, but this induction doesn't prevent either from getting in at a later date or something.

Former 1980's and 1990's WWF superstar Jacques Rougeau wrote on his official Facebook page on February 24, 2017 that he has sent messages to Mr. McMahon on many different occasions about inducting the entire Rougeau wrestling family into the WWE Hall of Fame and that Vince has still refused to even report back to him on all of those occasions. Sadly, we'll never see Jacques, Raymond & Armand Rougeau and their soon to be 87-year-old father or even two of their uncles get inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame due to Mr. McMahon's unpleasant personality. The Rougeau wrestling family is the most iconic wrestling family from Quebec. Jacques Rougeau is very upset that his family has been and still is being excluded from the WWE Hall of Fame. I believe that the Rougeau wrestling family is every bit as deserving to be in the WWE Hall of Fame as the Von Erich wrestling family is. Jacques Rougeau revealed in that very recent Facebook post that he is going to war with Mr. McMahon. Yeah, Jacques said that. He mainly said that because they wouldn't give him big transfer money for Cedric's contract. And also the fact that he thinks that with Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn having success there, the guys are more likely to let their contracts run out and try their luck at getting in NXT, as Jimmy Tell and Isaac Shemin did last month. Going to war also won't be happening, because Cedric now has a lot of say in the company and he wants to open up to the world and modernize. Jacques isn't crazy enough to piss off his cash cow. He wouldn't mind pissing off his son, he pissed off J.J. all the way to Australia, but he won't piss off the biggest ace the territory has had since, well, him 30 years ago. His "Leave & You'll Never Be Allowed Back" policy has soften and someone like Eric Mastrocola that left was allowed back because Cedric wanted him back. That being said, if he were to go to war legit, he could be a pain in their ass locally. Of course, it wouldn't matter much, it's only two towns that WWE runs in Quebec, but WWE isn't working from a dominating position here. The explaination would take way too long, but they are not on local TV, the Network's on-demand features aren't available to 95% of the folks here, Owens has very little local media visibility and Zayn has zero, the show doesn't appeal to the locals because there's too many promos and too much brawling and not enough technical wrestling and flips... WWE has not promoted a show Montreal fans would like since Pat Patterson handed in the book, because of course HE ran it right, it's his town... Rougeau's stuck between a rock and a hard place because he is a legit great trainer, he can now say he's trained a world champion, so his trainees will get scrutinized closer and I wouldn't be surprised if WWE saves themselves the headaches and sign guys that look like they could be special right out of their entry-level 3 year deals. It's that or they wait 3-4-5 more years before signing them. That being said, the Rougeaus do deserve to be in the HOF.

Also I think Sable isn't in because they're not on the best terms with Brock right now plus it seems like they want full-fledged wrestlers in.

In my opinion, it's such a travesty that Beth Phoenix is being inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame this early. During her WWE run (2006-2012), women's wrestling in WWE had such a disastrous era. During her WWE run, the women's wrestling division in WWE was so lackluster, dreadful, forgettable, boring and underwhelming. She was in the wrong WWE era to be in for a female wrestler. For those reasons alone, WWE should have delayed her induction for many more years. Miss Elizabeth, Luna Vachon, Chyna, Bull Nakano, Ivory, Victoria, Molly Holly and Jazz should have definitely all been inducted before Beth Phoenix. I absolutely hate it that Vincent Kennedy McMahon has the final say when it comes to WWE as to who gets inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame and who doesn't get inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame. I believe that the Rougeau wrestling family is every bit as deserving to be in the WWE Hall of Fame as the Von Erich wrestling family is. Jacques Rougeau revealed in that very recent Facebook post that he is going to war with Mr. McMahon. Mr. McMahon is the sole reason why Davey Boy Smith, Ivan Koloff, Chyna, Vader, Bruiser Brody, The Destroyer, Earthquake, The Midnight Express, The Rougeau wrestling family and numerous other major wrestling legends still aren't in the WWE Hall of Fame. I think he should get ahold of Triple H, not Vince. With no knowledge of the situation, I'll just guess Vince doesn't even use email. Triple H is clearly the guy to build bridges.
