I'm actually kind of surpised Alone In The Dark has only gotten 1 vote thus far. Manos sucks to be sure, but it's already been MST3Ked what more do you want?

Speaking of MST3K, I would love to see Mike and the 'bots riff on Alone In The Dark or basically any other Uwe Boll film. BRING BACK MST3K DAMMIT!

On a side subject, Jaws: The Revenge completely KILLED a profitable series. Murdered it. There can't be a JAWS 5 without somehow trying to explain 4 in a reasonable way, which is basically impossible. Which is why I voted for it, and have the DVD with commentary. Very apologetic commentary. Pretty much why it got my vote, too. Even the 3D movie didn't kill it off. But Michael Caine sunk Bruce for the last time.

The poster alone killed the Jaws series, you didn't even have to see the movie. "This time, it's personal." It's still a joke to this day

Actually, what killed it for me was how the shark died in that one.

Jaws: The Revenge was a cluster of a film.
Honestly, there is basically no way to spoil it, because there are so many versions. Heck, I am going to list a few of them....so...if you haven't watch J:TR and would want to...and want to be surprised by what happens....for some odd reason....don't read on...
In one, Mario Van Peebles gets to accept his Token Black Status and get chomped.
In another, Mario somehow survives being CHOMPED, Not bitten or nipped, CHOMPED, by Jaws by saying he "slipped away" Huh?! (This apparently happened because some test audiences were sad that Mario died. Really? I think that was the FREAKING POINT!) ~~ The ending, which sucks no matter what version you see, features one where the shark is impaled and breaks off the front stick that impaled it (Can't think of the name) before sinking.
The other scene (AKA the ridiculed one) consists of the shark EXPLODING on freaking IMPACT! Followed by the ending scene of the original Jaws with the bloody mess of the shark sinking into infinity.
How fitting, the last shark scene would come from the movie that got it right.
I swear, this thread is getting my memory juices flowing from this film so bad that I could write the review. Daggone.

Jaws 3D was by far one of the worst movies I've ever seen. I kind like Jaws 4. Yeah, it's a silly concept, but c'mon... Shark vs. Banana Boat. That's art right there. Just realized I haven't seen this movie in, like, 20 years or so. Msn, how time flies when you're watching silly crap.

After of course, the Brody widow used a freakin camera. The worst death scene for a monster. If a camera worked, The Crocodile Hunter would still be alive.

By the end of this week. I will be ending voting and I will start working on the inductions.

To bring the subject onto another one of the movies listed (or before Jaws 4 gives me a coronary) Howling 2 was rather cheesy. I, however, did find it hilarious at the end of the movie, during the credits, when they randomly flashed back to the gratuitous nude scene.
Christopher Lee was the best part of the film, despite anything resembling sense leaving the film after an hour.

Allright. Its official. I will be doing Manos: The Hands of Fate and Jaws: The Revenge as my next two inductions. I already have the Manos one written up and I will start writing the Jaws induction by the next week. Both will be up in October.
