Mickie James-I was crushing hard on her then, she was really nice and stayed over to make sure everyone got an autograph Roddy Piper-Super Nice! He hugged me and treated me like a long lost brother Both times I met Cena, he stayed until the last autograph was signed, and Edge treated me like we were friends for life

Not so much met but Patrick Stewart used the same gym for a couple of weeks. Later found out they were filming in the village.
Didn't want to bother him while he was doing his exercises.

Can't remember if it was here or another forum where I made a list of the wrestlers I have met over the past 5 years. None of these were from conventions but from helping out at shows.
Stevie Richards-Super super nice guy.Ended up paying for everyone's meal after the show. Loves to talk about crazy conspiracy theories.
Luke Hawx-Very nice guy who after meeting me one time remembered my name and that I love lucha libre. Heard he has changed over the past 2 years a bit.
Viscera-Met him about 6 months before he passed.Learned him and I were about the same age. Really nice and had some great stories to tell about his time in Memphis.
Chris Masters-Much bigger in person than I figured, heightwise I mean.
Matt Hardy-Got him to sign my Omega dvd set. Then we talked for a bit about a mutual friend. As I was leaving I heard him explaining to Reby who "That old bastard John Henry Delong" is.
Kamala-Was either his last match or next to last match. Had gotten to know lots of the local indy guys,so got invited before the show to come talk to Kamala. Ended up exchanging email addresses with him and we still talk often.
Ted Dibiase Jr-A guy who is too nice to be in wrestling.
Brett Dibiase-Gotten to know Brett pretty well over the years. If he wanted to wrestle full time he would be in WWE. But he treats it more like a hobby.
Ted Dibiase Sr-He came in for a NWA BIW show I was doing video work for. Talked to him a bit before the show. And gave him a dvd-r of late 70s NWA AMarillo tv footage. Which had a few tag matches with a young Ted SR on it. About halfway through the show he was about to leave, came over to where we were filming and asked "Are you the REDACTED Brett and Ted Jr told me about?" Told him I was. And got invited to come to the Dibiase Mansion.
Trina Michaels-Worked as a valet at a Wildkat show I was at. Very nice and seemed to be happy there was one guy there not asking about her porn career.
Tim Storm-Yeah I know he isn't that well known. But have known Tim for 5 years now. And he is a guy I end up chatting comics with fairly often.
Keith Lee-Great guy who since I met him one time in person 2 years ago always asks the group I normally travel with if I am coming to the show with them.
Shane Taylor-Same as Keith but a bit quieter.
Joey Ryan-At a VIP show he had his table set up next to ours. So talked to him off and on the entire show. Was surprised anyone saw the old NWA on ColoursTV show. Told us some funny TNA stories also.
Jessie Sorenson-Same show as Ryan. Nice but seemed distracted.
Charlie Haas-VIP show, was very distracted. Thinks he is fat now so refuses to be seen without a shirt on.
ACH-Was quiet and standoffish at first. Then once Andy Dalton let him know he knew me ACH opened up.
AR Fox-Very quiet but also one of the few that introduced himself by his real name.
Teddy Hart-VIP show again,Teddy wasn't working it. Just showed up to hang out. Ended up talking about bigfoot and stuff like that with Teddy. Then later on that show he ended up cussing out another wrestler for insulting me.
Masada-Screw Masada. Didn't think much of him before I met him. And now that I have I think even less.
Boogie Woogie Jimmy Valiant-Really laid back guy. With lots of great stories. Ended up having lunch with him hours before the show started.
Bill Dundee-First time I met him he had worked 3 shows already that weekend and was tired. Second time got to spend 40 minutes sitting in the locker room listening to him tell stories about Robert Fuller's infamous body part and the time Lawler got in trouble for drawing a pornographic Disney Cartoon on the chalkboard at an all girls Catholic boarding school.
Jerry Lawler-Met him 2 times now. First time him and I ended up talking about rare footage and then comics. Second time I was shocked he remembered my name. But he had to leave right after his match.
Jimmy Hart-Super nice. Took the time to talk to everyone backstage. Then kept asking us how we were liking his band's warm up stuff.
Tracy Smothers-Met him 2 times. First was a quick hey thanks for the show can I get a pic. Second time got to talk to him for a bit. Then during the show he came out and sat at the commentary table with us for a match.
Curtis Hughes-Nice guy but really thinks he is a much bigger name than he is.
Robert Fuller-Laid back and chill guy. Told so many stories about rats and stuff.
Ron Fuller-Quiet and kind of kept to himself.
Jimmy Golden-Total opposite of Ron FUller.
Action Mike Jackson-Really nice guy. Didn't believe how old I am until I finally showed him my driver's license.
Derrick King-Met him 3 times now. He is a guy that should be known nationwide, but that ain't gonna happen.
Chase Stevens-Nice guy,who broke his foot 2 minutes into a 35 minute match. Thanked me 4 times for filming and doing security during his match.
I am sure there is some I am forgetting......
Bob Holly-Met him back when he was training and was still working as a welder on the gulf coast. He was working a shut down with my father and the company they worked for had a picnic. Nice guy.

I forgot I met the Hardys. They were pretty nice. Jeff was quieter, Matt was more outgoing Yeah I keep hearing that Jeff is quiet. Matt was very very outgoing. But also when I met him it was a few hours before they let the crowd in. He had just set up his table and I walked over to see what his prices were. No idea about now, this was 2012 IIRC,but it was 5 for an autograph and $5 for a pic with him.

The people that were running it, had a binder with other autographed pics, so I bought my brother the Hart Foundation autographs, for $10.

I work in sports media, so I've met or interviewed a shit ton of pro athletes including Sir Alex Ferguson, LeBron James, Kevin Durant, Bobby Orr, Dwyane Wade, Anthony Davis, DeMar DeRozan, Thierry Henry, Andre Drummond, PK Subban, Paul Millsap, Karl-Anthony Towns, Kristaps Porzingis, Jerome Bettis, Brian Kelly, Steve Tasker, Conor McGregor, Shaquille O'Neal, Terrell Owens and more that I can't think of right now.
As for celebrities, I've met Beyoncé, Noel Gallagher, Drake, Keanu Reeves, Michael Keaton, Tina Fey, Ryan Gosling, Ewan McGregor, Seth Rogen, Ryan Reynolds, Jennifer Love Hewitt, Penn & Teller, Aziz Ansari, Olivia Wilde, Jason Sudeikis and probably more.
Virtually everybody I've met has been pretty cool.
The only person I've ever met who was an asshole was Edward Norton. I had to kick him out of my seat at a Radiohead concert.

Good dude. Gave me what I needed and didn't go into sports cliche mode. Also, when D-Wade complimented my style, LeBron chimed in to agree, so he's alright by me.

I made John Cena and that other guy Trademarc (SP?) he recorded the CD with to get it autographed. This was right after he won the belt from JBL and he was super nice. Trademarc could've cared less. I met The Iron Sheik. He was okish but a little out of it. The first 8 by 10 he gave me said "To: Iron Sheik From: Iron Sheik" . Roddy Piper was amazing and super nice. I also met Rob Van Dam the day he faced Goldust at No Way Out in Milwaukee. He was laid back and had a damn firm handshake. Shoutout to the asshole that stole my autograph of RVD years ago. I met former Packers QB Lynn Dickey years ago at a signing at a photography store of all places. I also interviewed Daniel Bryan when was ROH Champion and Gabe Sapolski when he was booker of ROH in college when I had a wrestling talk show. I met Mike Holgrem when I was little. I don't remember much about my encounter with him. I met a local DJ a few times at campus events years ago.

I met Nicholas Cage as a kid. He was in Atlantic City filming Snake Eyes and me and my Mom met him in one of the Casinos. I don't know how else to put this but he gives off a very strange vibe.

Met Slipknot, all were very nice, Corey was by far the most personable and, despite all the stories you hear, Clown was a class act. Mudvayne - All cool, but as I was a huge huge fan of theirs at the time I made a complete ass of myself in front of them, barely able to squeak out words Lamb Of God - Awesome dudes, invited us to watch their set on stage as my friend was in a wheelchair. Told Randy how cool that was that they did that and he just said, "We're just dudes, don't want to be anything big. If there's a kid in a wheelchair that might not be able to see, put him on stage, it's the easiest thing in the world." Me and my husband met Corey last year during his little solo acoustic tour. We were in the parking lot of the theater he was playing at looking at his bus and him and Tech Nine walked up. It was around the time they did that song Wither together.

I went to an autograph signing they were doing at the mall. 20 dollars for a pic and an autograph. The people that were running it, had a binder with other autographed pics, so I bought my brother the Hart Foundation autographs, for $10. When was this? When I met Matt it was right after he left ROH but before he came back to TNA. Thanks to knowing the promoter found out what it cost back then to bring Matt in. Which wasn't a bad deal. But I loved that as part of the deal Matt wanted "3 pieces of spicy chicken from Popeyes.Plus 2 large sides of mashed potatoes and one of cajun rice." Reminds me of the time Tommy Rich was suppose to come to a show in my town. But once he found out no liquor was allowed in this county he backed out.Cause part of his deal was cash,a place to stay for the night and a 5th of Jack. And just remembered a few other celebs I have met. Page Hamilton of Helmet. Was early to mid 90s they were playing a tiny club in NOLA. After they finished Page just walked off the stage straight to the bar. I walked over and ended up talking to him for at least 30 minutes. Super nice guy. He offered to buy me a drink, but I had already had 2 that night and still had to drive back home. So turned it down. Jerry Reed-He did a show at one of the casinos in Lake Charles. After the show he was out front selling stuff. I went up talked to him a bit and asked why he didn't do my favorite song of his "Pretty Mary Sunshine". He laughed and replied with "Let me guess you watched a lot of Scooby Doo growing up." Clive Barker-Was at a con. I was helping work a table for a local comic shop. So go in early. Saw that Mr Barker had his table ready so went over to get my UK printing of the Books of Blood signed. He noticed the pack of cigs in my shirt pocket and asked for one. I handed him what was left in the pack. Was about to head back to our table to get ready when he asked me where the smoking area was. Ended up out there for a long time smoking and talking with Clive. Gunnar Hanson-The original Leatherface. He was appearing at a Haunted Hotel in Beaumont TX. I went to meet him, since TCM is not only my favorite film but also the first movie I ever saw. Got 2 signed 8x10s from him then paid for a poloroid with him."OK REDACTED I am gonna put my hands around your throat like I am choking you." He tells me. Then right before the pic is snapped he squeezed a bit and in the pic my eyes are bugging out. 3 Doors Down-Known Brad Arnold since he was 11 or so. His best friend was my best friend's lil brother. Use to go see 3 doors Down play all the local dive bars and stuff. A few of a good friend's Halloween parties he paid 3 Doors Down to play at them.I will give them credit for all the stuff they did after Katrina to help out the MS GUlf Coast, but for various reasons I do not get along with any of them anymore. All I will say is each year I have Brad in my celeb death pool cause one day he will end up ODing. Shaq-He went to college with a guy from my high school. They were on their way from LA to Florida for both of their first seasons in the NBA. The guy from my high school wanted to stop at the school to see some of his old teachers. They even planned it while classes were going so they wouldn't be mobbed by people. I had asked the teacher for a bathroom pass,I was gonna go out to my car and smoke a cig quick, and I walk out in the hall and see both of them coming down the hall. Talked to both for a few minutes. And gotta say Shaq is one of the few people I have met that made me feel short. Almost met Jack Swagger. Remember years back when he got arrested for speeding in MS and got caught with pot on him. If I had went to go visit a friend an hour earlier I would have met Swagger.

Time to brag: Luis Aparicio (Orioles Hall of Fame shortstop)-Nice but quiet. Hank Bauer (Yankees outfielder from the 50's.)-Wonderful man who told stories of his service time in WWII. Very grandfatherly. Yogi Berra (Hall of Fame Yankees catcher.)-Very quiet but respectful. Very different from the character created for him. Wolf Blitzer- Odd man. Told me dryly that the Mets sucked to my face while I was at CNN for a month as a stand in. Henry O. Godwin- Was in a rotten mood when I met him as a kid. Hillbilly Jim-Really nice guy. Rosie O'Donnell-Passed her at a Street Fair. Was in a really bad mood lol. Jason Phillips (Mets catcher from 2000's.)-Really cool dude that made me feel comfortable.
Will post more over time.

Best I've met
Actors: Jack Gleeson (King Joffrey) just a cool down to earth guy with a dry wit who doesn't take himself seriously at all.
Pro Athletes: Isaac Bruce (One of the best NFL WRs ever) I was working out with the same trainer he was in his offseason. I recognized him but didn't want to distract him/go all fan boy so I asked the trainer if they could relay to him that I'm a huge fan and grateful for everything he did for the city of St Louis. He came over to me, we talked and I got his autograph. Next week he still remembered my name, came up to me to say hello and introduced himself to my dad (I was a teen at the time). He didn't have to do any of that and I didn't expect him to. But he did because he is awesome.
Pro Wrestler: John Cena Really funny guy who went out of his way to make sure all fans went home happy. Talked with him at length about a sign I brought that he cracked up at. This was probably within a year of his face turn when he was still rapping.

I've met quite a few from my days attending Chiller Theatre in Jersey back in the day when I could make time for that stuff. The biggest moment was being invited to my friend's birthday party in his suite during Chiller and being in the same room with Gaylen Ross, Ken Foree, and Joe Pilato, from the original Dawn Of The Dead and Day Of The Dead, respectively. Amongst others, I've met Robert Picardo in an elevator (really nice guy), I got to share an elevator with Warwick Davis and his entire family, and the Iron Sheik and I caught glances at breakfast in the hotel restaurant one morning, we toasted each other, and he came over and thanked me for coming out to the show. That was an awesome one for me.
Oh, and Pee Wee Herman took a picture of me in my costume one year on the lobby floor. Not a picture of me with him. Just my costume. That was a particularly mind-boggling and awesome one for me.
