Curious if anyone has any good stories.
I met Tim Allen as a kid. My dad made an ass out of himself in front of him.i also met Ken Shamrock as a kid. Super nice but you could tell he was f***ed up on something. And my GF recently met and danced with Tom Hanks at Club 33.
Any weird celebrity interactions?

I met Liger and Tanahashi at a ROH/NJPW show in May. Both were super super nice. I had been wearing my Nakamura shirt and both went out of their way to point at it and mention it. Stupid me later was like "Duh, of course, they're probably friends since they worked together."

Not weird per se, but when I worked as a wine clerk at a grocery store, it was weird to talk wines with Kevin Nealon (looking for a Merlot), Chi McBride (who REALLY likes Pinot Noir), Michael Vartan, and Billy Joe from Green Day (wanted Cristal or Dom Perignon...how punk. LOL).
The weirdest one I've ever dealt with was Tawny Kitaen, who was a drunk f***ing mess when she wanted to buy some vodka from me and I refused to let her get anything (true story).

This one isn't too exciting. However, I met Katt Williams at our local mall a few years ago. I was sitting on the bench getting together my bags of merchandise, I turned to look over at the Foot Action store and saw one of the employees take a picture with someone. I looked at him and said "That looks a lot like Katt Williams". But I dismissed it and figured it was someone who looked like him.
As he got closer to me I noticed that it looked too much like Katt Williams. So I asked the employee if it was him and he confirmed that it was Katt. Eventually I walked into GameStop, which is where he was, and sure enough it was him. I could tell he was trying to keep a very low profile. He had some gym warm-ups on, a stocking cap, sunglasses, and at first glance you would've just thought it was another guy. However, everyone was attempting to crowd around him to the point that I could tell he was trying to get out of there. So I just simply said "Hey Katt." and he responded "Hey man, how's it going?"
After that I left him alone and didn't pester him. I felt bad for him because as I was leaving he made his way to Bath and Body Works, practically the entire mall was blocking the entrance of the store itself. Needless to say while it was a brief exchange he was nice to me. But I just figured it'd be best to leave him alone.

John Ratzenberger has come into my job a few times. He got mad at one of the managers, because he was more interested in the celebrity, than the customer. He's always been very nice to me, though. At my first job, I met Carlos Cabrera. He was pretty nice. John Cena- very nice, both times I met him. Ashley Massaro- very nice, both times I met her Batista- not very nice, but my opinion on him has mellowed, thanks to this place. Edge- treated me like we were lifelong friends. Very nice guy. Randy Orton- I was nervous to meet him, after hearing stories about him, but, he was very nice to me. Traci Brooks- one birthday, TNA was doing a show here, so mom bought me the backstage pass package, and my brother and I met some of them. Traci was having dinner with some fans that won a radio contest, turned around and thanked me for coming to the show. She also said she liked my name (same name, different spelling) Rhino- didn't meet him, really, but at the TNA show, he told my brother that he didn't want to be there. Samoa Joe- very sweet to me. I hope he is successful in the E he was very cool Gail Kim- very nice to me, seemed like she was having fun at the autograph signing. Sin Cara- met him at WM29 Axxess, he didn't say much, lol Dolph Ziggler- met him at Raw, the week after Lawler's heart attack. He was very nice John Cena, Sr.- met him before a Raw taping in Bridgeport. He was very nice to me. I told him that my dad and I enjoy watching the Marine, and have a "bond" over Cena. He said he was happy to hear that, and Cena would be happy to know that, too. *celebrity fans* Lesnar guy at Axxess for 29- he was pretty friendly to me, and talked to us for a few minutes. Clown guy- kind of had the " you should be honored to be in my presence" attitude.

I interviewed Dan Rather, Sigourney Weaver, Richard Dreyfuss, Ted Danson and John Stossel. I briefly met Bob Newhart and Huey Lewis. And I interviewed CM Punk by phone. Sigourney Weaver was really sweet and I loved that she treats the Alien like her baby. She's so protective of it.

Bill Pinkney From The Drifters. It was soon before he died and was one of his last concerts. He was really nice and polite but we could tell he wasn't well, and tired. 3 months later he was gone.

Jools Holland (British TV presenter and musician). Served him twice in consecutive summers at two different jobs, and he was a rude, "don't you know who I am" sort of prick both times.
Jared Leto. Once after a 30 Seconds to Mars show in Camden, London in 2006, and again randomly in London in 2010. Really good dude both times.
Ryan Shuck. Spoke to him a couple of times on the phone back when he was lead guitarist for Orgy, and hung out with him a couple of times when his current band have played in the U.K. Awesome dude all round.
Craig Charles. He performed a poetry reading at my high school in '96, and I got to ask him a few questions for the school magazine. Very chatty, as one might expect.
John Hannah, Rik Mayall, Brian May from Queen, Alan Lee (Tolkien artist/conceptual artist on the Peter Jackson movies), and Ian McKellen were all semi-regular faces around town when I lived in my home town. All good people.

I once thought Woody Harrelson was a homeless guy who looked like Woody Harrelson
Once almost tripped over Johnny Depp
Shared a car ride home with Lemmy once
Was bar buddies with Drake Bell for a bit
Had lunch with Billy Gibbons
Brief conversation with Brad Pitt
Killed a bottle of whiskey with Dez Cadena from Black Flag
The last time I ever consumed a certain green substance was with Method Man
Drunken Helloween sing along in the middle of Sunset Blvd with Chris Jericho.
So yeah. Ive had a few run ins.

Not including any wrestlers in my list.
Courtney Cox-Well met her before she was a celeb at a family reunion 35ish years ago.
Gerald Mcraney-He is a cousin of a family friend. But ran into him 20+ years ago in the Biloxi Mall.

Interesting post about who's nice in WWE/TNA, edgestar. I have a friend who said Joe was unfriendly, wonder if he was having a bad day?
I've been quite intrepid in wanting to see/meet my favorites in the last 16 years or so. Off the top of my head... - Petula Clark (met 3x, was very accepting of having people backstage all times, except for the one when she was at a typical M&G table) - Anne Murray (it was a formal M&G I asked for through her agents, and it was quick, but she was nice) - Bernadette Peters (met her at Broadway Barks in NYC, she found the t-shirt I had of her very amusing) - Kristin Chenoweth (after On the 20th Century, she was just mouthing words as she finished the show and needed to give her voice a rest, but she was charming) - Marianne Faithfull (2x...doesn't really do pictures but autographed items both times and we talked a little the second time) - Mike Quinn (Nieb Numb, and countless other Star Wars and Muppet puppet roles...super cool, spent LOTS of time with my friends and I. He supports us on Facebook too.) - Tony Moran (masked Michael Myers in the first Halloween, he seemed nice but I think I scared him as I told him of the passing of a big Halloween fan who was my friend and whom he knew from other conventions. The news moved him to tears, so I made Michael Myers cry!) - Bette Midler (very nice given Barnes and Noble restrictions, she remembered Woody the Spoon from Vegetable Soup!) - Mary Tyler Moore (same, but seemed more restricting at her B&N signing. Didn't talk to me as much as Bette did) - Marlo Thomas (a more relaxed B&N session, she signed her book and other items, and took pics with fans) - Bonnie Scott (Who? you might say. She played Marlo's neighbor in the first season of That Girl. I happened to find her on the Sitcoms Online board, and we emailed for a little while...) - Joanna Lumley (I was in NYC when Ab Fab was taping there. I met some new friends there and we were by the hotel her and Jennifer Saunders were leaving. I had a Patsy t-shirt and she came right over, put her arm around me, and took pictures) - Tess Holliday (plus-size model...it was quick but she seemed nice) - Baby Jane Dexter (NYC area cabaret singer. What a charmer she is! Very friendly and funny.) - Barb Jungr (UK singer, also appeared in cabaret in NY. Also very nice.) - Constantine from American Idol (pretty nice, and he let my friend sing during his concert!) - Sam Jones (Flash Gordon, stuck around to do our meet and greets even when the convention was about to close) - MST3K alumni (whoever was part of Cinematic Titanic) - Rita McKenzie (does an Ethel Merman tribute, also the show Ruthless off Broadway) - Frank Marino (Vegas female impersonator)
I have several autograph successes through the mail as well. Including: Betty White (who also wrote me a personal note thanking me for a gift I sent her), Patricia Heaton, Eric Stonestreet, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Lana Parrilla, Ginnifer Goodwin, Melissa McCarthy (2x), Esther Williams, Peggy Lee, Wendy Richard, Mollie Sugden, Jennifer Saunders, Jane Horrocks, Lulu, Twiggy, Tempest Storm, Emme Aronson, Dame Edna, and Ed Asner, who wrote a paragraph on his 8x10 about how working in New York was a pain.
Um, I met Evan Stone and Ron Jeremy (yes, they have something in common!) Evan in particular was really nice and didn't ask me for anything, and even signed and did a video for my friend. NOTE: NOT that kind of video!!!!!
Lots of wrestlers, naturally. Jerry Lynn is VERY nice, so was Christian York. We met George Steele at a book signing, he was great and informative. Recently my friends and I saw Joey Ryan and Cody & Brandi Rhodes, all were very accommodating and very cool. Nunzio/Little Guido is nice but quiet, Kidman acted like he didn't want to be there, and Earl Hebner too was very grumpy. Greg Valentine is usually nice, he's usually with indy wrestler Andrew Anderson. It sometimes depends on the agent they are with, and some of those can be really difficult or jerks themselves. Ric Flair was totally cool to my friend, as we got there late and didn't make the official session...but he posed for her in a picture as he left. Him and Charlotte were nice the time we saw them again at an official WWE signing. Dean Ambrose is just who you see on TV. Big E (pre-New Day) I met, he was pretty cool. I can go on and on!
Not-so-great encounters? Well, Shirley Jones was distant, a "one side of the table, you on the other" type. Overpriced merchandise too! Emilie de Ravin was OK to me, but not really accepting of people's questions. Plus she was at a badly-organized, Gestapo-ish convention. (I met Beverley Lewis there too, and she was sweet, but the people at the event ruined that too) And yes, I got Virgil-ized at least once...I didn't know his tricks then! Matt Morgan is another who seemed grumpy. So was Rikishi (might have been issues with his agent though). Robbie E used to be nice before he became "TNA famous". He pushed a table at my friend, who was minding her friend's merchandise table. He knocked down stuff and didn't apologize/refused to talk about it! Of course I can go on too about nightmare indy wrestler experiences. Skippy from Family Ties was just looking for "hot" women. Marsha Warfield from Night Court was OK in person, but not what she appeared to be...long story! Not in person, but Vito can be mean to people who don't agree with the WWE lawsuit.
EDIT: Video/audio proof...

Hung out on a tour bus with Tommy Lee for a few minutes at Ozzfest once. A bunch of us were walking around and he opened the bus door into my friend's face, then invited us in while she was bandaged up.

I haven't really met any big celebs, but I have interacted with some who have niches. The closest to an interaction with someone who was a celeb at one point was when I went with some friends to a concert last summer. Coolio went through the crowd and a lot of people actually got pictures with him. He shook my hand, believe it or not, but we didn't interact. Also, because this concert took place at a casino resort, afterwards as I was going to the casino, I saw a member of Color Me Badd going into an elevator. One lady pointed him out to her friend and I happened to be nearby. The guy waved at us. That same night I saw Rob Base in the casino (He performed in the concert, too), but he looked like he was talking on the phone. So I left him alone.
For those wondering, this was the "I Love The 90's" Tour.
As for others, I have met comedian Manny Maldonado, who was a part of a comedy concert which Paul Rodriguez headlined. I bought a DVD at the merchandise stand and Maldonado signed it. I even got to be in a picture with him. My cousin was in that same picture. He was a nice guy.

If we are including cons and stuff.
Rob Liefeld-Total asshat, but this was also in 94. Todd Mcfarlane-Same as Liefeld. Jack Kirby-Nicest comic creator I have met.
Lindsey Wagner-Wasn't happy at the turn out and that no one really seemed to want to drop 80 bucks to get a pic with her and get her to sign something. Patricia Tallman-Opposite of Wagner, was incredibly nice. Seemed very happy to talk about something that wasn't B5 related. Timothy Zahn-Met him while waiting in line to get in con. Talked for 30 minutes about horror movies. Then he says "Oh yeah sorry forgot to introduce myself I am Timothy Zahn" I replied that I knew who he was and thanked him for writing some damn good books. The next day hit his table to get some stuff signed. Him and his wife/girlfriend thanked me for telling them about a non-chain non-tourist trap place to eat in the area. Adrian Paul-I am not a huge fan of the Highlander films or TV show. But Adrian was one of the funniest people I have met. That year the celeb green room was right behind the big panel room. I was in the big panel room listening to the annual "Comic books in other media" panel. Adrian walks thru the room to get to his booth. A Buddy of mine that was hosting the panel jumps up and hollas in the mic "Hey Adrian Paul I want my money back for that horrible Highlander film you were in." Mr Paul turns around and quickly yells back "What money,I know all you geeks downloaded the movie. So no money back for you" laughed and headed to his booth.

I've met Kevin Nash and man, the diude's huge. I'm a big guy myself (6 foot 4 and 250 lbs) but he just towered over me and when we shook hands, his hand completely swallowed mine.
And actress Piper Laurie was my Grandma's cousin and apparently I met her when I was real little.
Met a few other semi celebs, and my family members are actually friends with some big celebs, but I don't have any noteworthy personal experience with them.

All these stories are crazy but, damn, being a huge Punk fan I gotta ask, how'd that go? I could tell he didn't want to be there and that he was next to someone likely making sure he didn't say anything he shouldn't say. But he seemed to have fun once I started asking him about non-WWE wrestling. The interview happened a few days after Misawa died, so I asked for his thoughts and he was more than happy to talk about Japanese wrestling. Plus, I was apparently the first person to get him to acknowledge the constant newz that he was always in the doghouse. That alone got picked up by the dirtsheets.

I forgot one: Skrillex. I had to meet him in costume and it was during my break so I was already pissed off. He (he's short. I'm short and he's shorter) and his entire posse were f***ed up, you could tell. He wanted to do the Harlem Shake and I sabotaged it by not moving the entire time much to the amusement of management that was watching me.
