Not gonna lie, but if they used this for the final battle between Jiren and Goku, I'd mark.

So according to the preview vegeta can no only land a hit without UI but can do damage as well. Get em Geets!

Universe 3 had one of my favourite leaving moments of the saga so far mostly for Mule popping out of the body and essentially going “Thanks Mack” and then vanishing.
That seriously had me in bits.

They're really have been doing great with each Universe's erasure. My tiny problem is, I've watched so much anime over the years that I end up recognizing most of the voices then I end up wondering who they played in other animes. I think this God also played Shikamaru in Naruto but I wouldn't swear on it.

I'm still annoyed at the lack of Buu.
It is not like tien was that relevant too. Can Toryama really have no idea what to do with the loveable blob?

I'm still annoyed at the lack of Buu. What's really annoying is they've now made the same joke three times. Frieza's here, we need someone to stand up to him, where's Buu? "Oh, um, durr, um, he sleepin', yeah. Sleepin' an' won't wake up." That's not really funny, but whatever, I guess. Buu's going to join us for the Universe 6 and 7 tournament, this is going to be awesome! "No, urr, um, he gotta sleep more, cause he sleepin', not gonna wake up." Okay, you've made this joke twice now. It's still not funny. Buu's going to fight in the Tournament of Power! He even fought in a pre-tournament bout! This will be great, finally Buu is going to do something! "Oh... err, no, um, he, um, sleepin'. Again." f*** you, stop using Buu entirely then.

Yeah, Buu dropping out was a disappointment to me too, especially after he did well in his preliminary fight.
Mostly because I had this twisted idea in my head, before we learned anything about her, of Buu seeing Ribriane and falling in love with her.

Buu is supposed to be as strong as Goku ,if not more.(at least not-blue). So you cant just have him being jobbed like the other characters. The tournament of power has no excuse. It is the easiest way to eliminate someone really strong and protect then

I feel I can get why Buu was left out because of how they want this to be a big serious tournament and for the most part there hasn’t been gag characters or full on jobbers (universe 4 being an exception) and it’d kind of undermine it if Buu ran around and someone had to mind him before he turned people into candy. Also, Frieza has added so much intrigue to the story but also long term for where it could all go with if he’s brought back or tries to overthrow the Gods or wants to be the God of Destruction etc.
On the other hand, with how powerful Buu is and the kind of elimination he got, him replacing Tien wouldn’t have been the worst decision they’d have made. It was him and Piccolo (which should have been Episode 117 since that would have fully wrapped the Gohan/Piccolo arc fantastically) who got the worst eliminations out of Universe 7.

People like to shit on Universe 9 a lot, but they're a personal favorite of mine (I need MORE cat girl Hop!). The team was legit, but had the single worst strategy possible in the tournament & that's how they failed miserably. Had they used a much more conservative strategy, they likely lasted longer. I agree that 4 was jobbers; they had some of the least dignified ways to be eliminated, but they also had the least likable God of Destruction in existence (since he was the one who took the idea of Goku creating the erasure stipulation & flat out lies to the others), so it balanced out. Frankly, Tien should not have been picked. Lord, if you would job somebody, pick Yamcha! He's had a life of bad luck, but a double elimination would be his best shot at usefulness. Even when they showed Tien trying to clean up the Crane School name from a school of assassins to a legitimate martial arts academy, they undermined him. Wasn't he the only one eliminated to NOT get Beeeus's respect? And, I think Buu will be used later. They have to! If they do this a fourth time, its unforgivable.

the tournament is going to come down to vegeta/goku fusion using ultra instinct defensive and offensive (where each one only can use one individually.) vs jiren or gohan vs jiren where gohan pulls a power level out of his ass to win.
i do expect a russo-esque swerve where future xeno is either evil or the grand priest will use the angels who've lost their universes to challenge xeno for power.

Nah Beerus mocked Krillin as well when he got eliminated I believe.

I don't think we should take his disdain entirely seriously, in any case.
