And it makes sense considering the movie’s out this year and they probably want their best on it rather than have a situation like the start of the series with the animation being done by first timers or people with less experience than the ones on the One Piece movie. Just don’t have the next one have an arc involving whatever the movie is. Just say it’s canon (or not canon) and move on.For the love of God, please don't do that again That's just needless padding Not all padding was terrible. There was more Vegeta on Frieza violence, so that’s fun. Then again, they also gave us Krillin being scared of Frieza’s goons. Dude fought Cell by himself once. On top of that, he’s married to Android 18. She’s probably tougher on him when they have sex than those goons could have been when attacking. Yeah, the padding isn’t necessary.

I hope Dragon Ball comes back after the movie in some way. I've gotten spoiled by having it back again. Even when the quality has been meh I can still look forward to stuff like the awesome Goku/Kalifa (so?) battle or the big group fight a few episodes ago. At least I'll get to relive the better half dubbed starting Saturday. Finally passed a lot of stuff I wasn't a fan of before.

My personal favorite filler moment was when Frieza kept firing his Death Beams at Gohan. It was supposed to be a scary moment but if you ever saw Homer Simpson getting hit with baseballs at the family fun center, it becomes hilarious.

The Zamasu arc seeds SERIOUS Kai esque treatment, While I like it on the whole man does it get tedious in the middle.
Yet other stuff I never found dull, I even enjoyed the Jap Potaufeu arc (Looking forward to watching the Dub version on Home release)

People shouldn't be surprised. Everyone and their Mother knew it was a matter of When not If Frieza would show his true colors and sabotage U7.
Gohan had a great showing, don't try to play it off as him being like Krillin or The Preecho

I've had a good amount of issues with Super but this latest episode doesn't make much sense. I'd be saying things differently if {Spoiler}{Spoiler}17 and Freeza were eliminated first. It's not how Gohan was eliminated by the fact that he was eliminated when there's 4 other dudes out there. Especially 17, he's exhausted his time limit after he got that big Godzilla-sized dude outta here.

I'm hoping the Zeno decide to punish Frieza but will just think its cool so they'll allow a fighter switching teams.

Gohan had a great showing, don't try to play it off as him being like Krillin or The Preecho But still We saw it with Frost and attempted with U9 as well before the ToP started. Frieza's only in it for Frieza, this whole time during the tournament he's been staying out of sight and picking off anyone the first chance he gets. This was entirely in character for him to do.

Somebody asked why I was upset that 17 outlasted Gohan and I had to explain to them. This is what I said.
It's simple writing. If a character's done all they can do and there's closure then you get em outta there. After 18 saved 17 against an opponent, Krillin rooting him on and then 17 getting Analiza outta here, that's the highest peak from a character development point for him this arc. One of the characters even said 17 stole the show even though it was a team up with Goku, Vegeta, Gohan and Freeza joining him. I mean the guy stole the show out of all 5 of these dudes. There's nothing left for him that can eclipse that point. It's one reason why Krillin was eliminated so early. He did all that he had to do so he hit the bricks. It's also the same reason why 18 got outta here when she did. After that whole thing with Krillin and love all she had to do is save 17 and boom her character's finished this arc.
With Gohan it's a different story. Gohan not only didn't reach the level he wanted to reach and Gohan didn't win (which I didn't expect either to happen) but he was outlasted by 17 which, according to what I just said about 17, doesn't make any sense given he still had more to do from a plot standpoint compared to 17. From a character standpoint 17's development this arc is finished/is far more finished than Gohan's. We can't say the same for Freeza, Goku and arguably Vegeta but 17's absolutely fitting that bill. People wouldn't be this upset if 17 was eliminated before Gohan. It's not how Gohan was eliminated by the fact 17 outlasted him after what he did? Yeeeaaaaaaahhhhhhhhh, that's just bad writing. It makes Gohan look lesser and make 17 look like he's being thrown in the spotlight again for no reason. Besides that to the comments from others saying that "Gohan's done enough" and thinking Gohan fans are "ungrateful", most people were clowning Gohan this entire arc and now when he's eliminated you have some saying these other comments? Doesn't make any sense.
If 17 is quickly eliminated by Toppo next week, if 17 is sacrificed to show Toppo's strength, then I won't have a problem with it, maybe the writers didn't want Gohan to be the one taking that position. If that happens then it makes perfect sense why Gohan's out before 17. We'll see but either way right now it's just not good writing. It's like keeping a maxed out character in an RPG in your party when you're grinding instead of putting another character in who needs that EXP.
Regardless, these Super writers aren't good writers so it is what it is. It happens.

He defeated U10's best fighter, Saonel and Pirina, Koichirator and played a role in beating Aniraza. Like I said its not like he was eliminated in the opening minutes. He even earned Beerus' respect and is one of the few mortals to ever be addressed properly by him along with Goku, Vegeta and Roshi. That's not bad company to be put in.

Don't get me wrong I get all that Just still, after all these years of Gohan "being the doormat" sort of, compared to his peak it was nice to see him back into form
