Were you fooled by the ads in the beginning? Granted, the Scorcher trailer pretty much was given away as a parody once they started discussing all the sequels, but The Fatties and Satan's Alley trailers actually looked like real films.

Nah. I can see people getting fooled by Booty Sweat since Brandon T. Jackson was a unknown and Energy Drinks and Crunk/IN DA CLUB rap music was pretty much everywhere. But the fake ads were even in the real ads and they were obviously parodies.

I knew the trailers were fake, but I did overhear some guy behind me tell his buddy that the Scorcher movie looked really bad lol.

No. Because they were after the BBFC logo coming up on the screen with the rating of the film. No ads can come after that.

I had heard about the ads before I actually saw the movie.

I probably realized half way through the first one? Maybe the second.
Too bad I didn't pick up on as quickly I was on a date with a crazy person.

The Booty Sweat ad threw me off as I thought it was a real ad. However, when an ad for a movie starring Robert Downey Jr.'s character came out, I figured that was part of the movie.
