twitter.com/mattfarmer93/status/818866856421302273Wrestling historian and independent promoter Matt Farmer has reported on Twitter that Timothy Smith has passed away. He wrestled as Rex King and teamed with Steve Doll as the Southern Rockers. They went on to team in WWF as Well Dunn where he used the name Timothy Well. On Facebook, Smith's son Travis noted that Smith's kidneys shut down and he had been in poor health.

RIP. Seriously, Well Dunn is completely gone. The hell, they were not that old. Dunn died....several years ago now (a blood clot got to his heart). RIP indeed.

Well Dunn were such a weird team, like the Beverly Brothers they had a good look and weren't horrible in the ring, but never really had the chance to gain any sort of momentum in the WWF, jobbing and being saddled with Harvey Whippleman. Both guys passed away much too young, rest in peace.

RIP.
I never understood what Well Dunn was supposed to be, but I had seen Dunn in AWA, and I knew he was good. They were a solid team who just needed a better name/look.

Without a doubt the highlight of his career was the huge pop he received at the 1995 Royal Rumble, which I'm still convinced was a result of fans thinking he was Scott Steiner.
Regardless, it is a shame they're both gone so young. Even the third Southern Rocker, Scott Peterson, who was Dunn's original partner before he met Well died in a motorcycle accident back in '94. Well Dunn might be cooked, and the tragedy is that they were finished medium rare, at best.
I'm sorry. I know I shouldn't make light of death with such a horrible joke. But I truly think that pun was so bad it couldn't possibly be offensive. And the news really is a drag.

I actually saw Well Dunn on a SMW show at my elementary school in, I think, 5th grade.
The only thing I really remember is one of them popping off something about the town (which has never been a town, it's houses, a church, and a school) and no one reacted.
Except me. I can't remember what I said, but I didn't raise my voice. Still, whichever one was on the apron heard me and actually broke kayfabe by looking back at me and laughing.

I was sure I had read maybe a year or two ago that he had passed away. Either way, rest in peace Timothy Well. Very nice gesture by Jericho to pay the entire cost there too, class act.

It's so weird because I was just talking about them today with a friend of mine while we watched one of the Well Dunn matches from SMW on the Network.
I told him one of them had died, and I thought it was him, but I looked it up and at the time, I was wrong.
So strange. That was just hours before he actually died. RIP.

So WD and Public Enemy are two teams with both deceased members. Aside from obvious ones.

How do you go from a 2,500 goal to a 15,000 goal? Comes off as greedy.
