Hope the Chiefs win tomorrow. I don't have a real rooting interest in Dallas or Green Bay so I'm just hoping for a good game there.

I think that my biggest takeaway from last night's Texans-Patriots game is that, outside of injuries, just about everything that could go wrong for the Patriots did go wrong, yet New England won by 18 points and comfortably put away the pesky Texans. But a better team would not allow the Patriots to recover from their mistakes so easily.
Houston scored 16 points on four drives and all were created or aided by a Patriots error. Their first points came after a 13-play drive that should have been a three-and-out but Eric Rowe's unsportsmanlike conduct penalty allowed the Texans to stay on the field. Their second first half field goal was the end result of a drive that started at the Patriots' 27 following Tom Brady's first interception. Their lone touchdown came two plays after Dion Lewis fumbled a kick return at the New England 12. Their final points came following Brady's second interception, when Houston started at the Patriots' 34. Every other Houston drive ended in a punt or turnover.
As long as New England doesn't repeat these errors next week, I like their chances against the Steelers or Chiefs. But if they're giving either team possessions inside their territory, those teams will know how to put the ball in the end zone versus settling for field goals.

Maybe The NFL should have moved up the Start Time of Cowboys/Packers I don't want to sound like an alarmist, but if the ratings for tonight's Steelers at Chiefs game are strong, I don't believe we'll ever again see a 1 p.m. playoff game. I'm not sure if that's something that has to be collectively bargained or negotiated among the networks and the league, but I believe the NFL wants every playoff game to be as close to primetime as possible in order to maximize ratings. I think if tonight's game does well against its Sunday night network competition, we'll see 4:30 and 8 p.m. games on Saturday and Sunday for Wild Card and Divisonal weekend for the foreseeable future. I really believe the NFL wants out of that 1 p.m. Sunday slot and this is their excuse to do it.

You know what would be funny? We have been pronouncing Prescott the wrong way this whole season, and he is just to nice to correct us. In reality Prescott is pronounced like the city in Arizona, which sounds like Prisket.

Wow, Adams almost had his jersey ripped off and somehow that wasn't a penalty.

We could be on the verge of Romo time. Quaterback play isn't the problem unless the Cowboys defense starts playing better, like holding the Packers to a field goal right now, this will be a blowout.

The prospect of having to deal with Aaron Rodgers has collectively turned the entire Atlanta Falcons defense into that "blurry Mr. Krabs" meme.

Dak and Zeke have played fine. It's the rest of the team, particularly defense, that seemingly forgot there was a game today.
