Anyone watched this film? I finally watched it tonight and it's one of the most charming films I've seen in years. How it wasn't nominated for anything at the BAFTAs or Golden Globes is beyond me (and I doubt the Oscars will give it any nods either). I was sobbing my eyes out one minute and then laughing so much I actually hurt myself. The Director, Taika Waititi is currently directing Thor: Ragnarok, so hopefully this bodes well for that.

Waititi Also directed and starred in the great horror comedy 'What We Do In The Shadows' .
Loved 'Hunt for the Wilderpeople' . Made my top 10 of the films of 2016.

Finally got around to watching it and I loved it.
Though being said some of the references will most likely go over the head of anyone who isn't a New Zealander.

I enjoyed it quite a bit, but I think they had more movie than story after a while.
Very fun watch overall though.

Also forget to mention in my previous post that Taika Waititi was named New Zealander of the year last month.
